Pair of (1930's) Japanese Cloisonne Enamel Vase with Dragon & Phoenix

Each is 6 inches (15.2 cm) tall by 2.2 inches (5.5 cm) wide. Total weight is 289 gram.

One of the vase has loss of enamel, bruises, and cracks at the lip and side. Another vase has a possible repair at the base (as seen in the photos).

Early open vessel by Toshiko Takaezu (USA, 1922-2011). Signed with the TT signature. Over 10" high and approximately 11" across. From a North Carolina estate. This work was probably created by the artist when she taught at Penland. In excellent condition.

One Japanese blue and white porcelain dish. Shonsui style decoration in roundels of birds in branches with berries and of peonies, all centered by geometric decoration along the inside of the foliate rim. The back with similar decoration of roudels, blue and white band decoration above the foot rim centering a four character mark within a blue ring. Good condition. Diameter, 7 1/2 inches. Chinese Amber carved Chimera Ornament with Macrame knot, 1" 7/8" wide, 5/8" thick, 4 1/2" long with rope overall, nice carved body and face, the condition is good.

Old oxcart for Hina Matsuri, the Japanese girl's festival. Decorated in makie on lacquered wood, this style of the carriage was used by the aristocrats during the Heian period (I794-1185). This can be displayed with the "shittei (shitei)", three servants dolls and/or other small dolls. The carriage is tied to the stand in original condition which needs to be untied after the shipment. English Bone China Hammersley & Co. Demitasse Cup, 1932-present, 2 1/4" wide include handle, 2 1/4" high, floral design, "Bone China, Hammersley & Co. Made in England" mark in green on the bottom. The condition is good.

Antique Chinese Liao style Amber Glazed Urns with white clay body. Nice pair of matching urns with faux ribbon molding going down each side and an incised flower pattern on the center of each the foot has exposed white clay body. There is a chip to one rim and one foot . Possibly period Liao . Size 10.5" by 7"

Morgantown Glass Co. made Crinkle from 1962-71. This tumbler is 4" and holds 3 oz. It's in great shape. Thanks for looking.

19thc Hindu white marble Temple sculpture of Lord Ganesha, size 9" by 5.2"

This Iris and herringbone water goblet holds 8 ounces of fluid. It is 5 3/4" tall. There are no chips, no cracks, and no repairs to this item. This item is in excellent condition.

Large three-legged stoneware dish of asymmetrical shape with a carved and enameled non-figural motif in yellow, blue, red and green on white. The three legs articulated in white against a black background. 1950's, unsigned, in the style of Kostanda, Rivier, Fidler or Derval. Width "12/ 30 cm, height "2¾/ 7 cm. Condition: two of the legs restuck (cf. last photo).

Republic chinese pair of ceramic wall vases with charming flowering vines and peony flowers and butterflies. Studio ware, one with red rectangular seal on base. They measure 6" tall, 3/4" deep.

A fine Japanese antique Satsuma tripod koro with lid. Decorated on one side with a group of children playing and on the other side a garden scene with flowers against a fence. The domed cover decorated the same with a seated foo dog finial resting on a ball. Resting on three animal head legs. All highlighted with gilt.

Age: Meiji Period (19th Century)

Condition: Very good condition. There is a small chip on the mane and the tail of the foo dog.

Japan Edo period 1820s Bunsei era Sculpture of a Buddhist Temple Priest , this sculpture was collected in Japan in the 90s from Kagoshima area . This piece is a multi block wood carving with gesso sumi and gold leaf with glass eyes. The sitter was revered by his temple for his deeds. Size W13" D 8" H 16"

It is a beautiful kimono in excellent condition. The black dye changed it's color to a current black which has a tint of brown. The silk is in a super good condition. The design is the favorite design of Kakiemon, the hoo bird and the leaves of the paulownia tree. The hoo bird has been associated with the Empress in Japan and her crest is an elegantly designed paulownia leaves.

Japanese woodblock print by Kasamatsu Shiro, oban yoke-e, ¡°Lake in Hakone,¡± dated Showa 28 (1953), published by Unsodo, early edition. Minor burning on the margin. Good impression, color and condition.
