This lovely signed cameo vase by Daum Nancy is a tiny unusual shaped treasure. It measures only 1 1/4" high x approximately 1 1/2" wide at its widest point. It has a lovely scenic design, and the vase itself has four dimples in it - one on each of its sides. It is in perfect original condition with the exception of a very small amount of gold worn off the top. This is a choice piece for a collector of miniatures.

Japanese scroll painted with ink and colors on silk depicting a daimyo (feudal lord) in full military armor and a quiver full of arrows on his back before a battle. He is seated on a low chair on top of a tiger skin, a low table with sake cup, chopsticks and few small plates with condiments. There is a stretched textile screen behind him and a kneeling armored attendant holding a tall narrow banner...

Chinese antique small display shelf with stand, made of hong-mu. A staggered shelf in the middle breaks up the square area. The front and sides of the unit is carved with delicate lined details and cusped edges. On each side of both the top and bottom shelf is a little window (four total) and the back is open. The underside of the base has a black lacquer panel painted with a butterfly and chrysanthemums.

Of flattened baluster shape with a waisted neck supported on a carved foot with golden natural inclusions. The body of the bottle is carved with a relief dragon motif all around.

Standing female figurine, with typical coiffe and elongated head, scarifications on face and torso, arms alongside and separated from torso, small breasts, straight legs and big stylized feet. Wood, fine dark-brown semi-glossy patina. Africa, D.R. Congo, Mangbetu Peoples. Height: 11 7/8" (30 cm). The statue is nicely mounted on a custom metal stand. Old accident on left shoulder (local restoration), erosion, otherwise good condition.

This early 20th century classic estate Kiddush Cup is made of sterling silver. 5” tall and the mouth is 2 ¾” wide. The design that does not show well in the pictures runs all around the cup including a Star of David.

Japanese scroll painting in colors on paper depicting “delicacies from the land and the sea” - a cuttlefish on a bamboo branch, edible taro bulbs and a long stemmed fuki - Japanese butterbur. Beautiful work, elegant composition in Japanese taste, delicate subtle painting. Signed SHUJI GA (painted by Shuji) followed by the red seal of the artist. Beautiful bamboo pattern paper mounts, lacquered scroll ends, in perfect condition, excellent painting for display during tea ceremony...

From our World Handicrafts Collection (ex-Asia), a fine vintage Afghani tribal rug, wool on wool handmade construction, using exclusively natural pigments / mineral dyes. A modestly sized but very well-executed and elegant example that works well in either a rustic or formal decor.

Size and Condition: 57 inches long, 39 inches wide. There are some random expected thread pulls and light wear commensurate with age and use, but overall excellent condition.

Vintage Spa Glass - This spa glass has small blue flowers painted on it, with the saying "Bad Hall!" It measures 4 1/8" tall x 2 7/8" wide x 1 3/8" deep and is in perfect condition.

1960's Chinese Famille Rose Porcelain Plaque with Fisherman

The plaque is 15.3 inches (38.9 cm) in length by 8.7 inches (22 cm) wide. It is 3 Lb.

It has dark spots, skip glazes, rubbing of paint, a chip at the rim, and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

Excellent vintage condition

A vintage Japanese Isho Biraki (stacking clothing chest) made of Kiri (Paulownia) and Kaki (Persimmon) woods. All original hardware including the Warabite handles. Upper section features two sliding doors, two drawers and a hinged door all providing space for organizing small items. The center section has two hinged doors that open to four removable Kimono trays where lighter clothes or linens can be stored. The bottom section has two large drawers for additional spacious storage...

Chinese famille rose plate with a central figure of a rooster with other roosters among lotus blooms and other foliage. The underside of this plate has been covered in pewter, leaving the base exposed that shows a six character iron red Guangxu mark. With the addition of pewter, this dish is quite heavy.

Age: Guangxu 1875-1908
