Classic vintage three piece silver plate carving set by American silver manufacturer WALLACE SILVERSMITHS ready to attack that steak. A large carving knife, fork with rest attached and blade sharpener; all handles have a brushed matte finish in a traditional pattern similar to WASHINGTON pattern, each piece signed R WALLACE, blade marked Stainless, circa 1930; Size: Knife-14", Fork-15", Sharpener-14"; Excellent condition.

Clearly this a very early ghurra showing greatly achieved carving art combined with thick crusted patina and significant signs of wear. The sculpture motifs represent on both side of the ghurra a scene of churning, supported by an interlacing which could represent snakes which it is however difficult to formally identify as the deposit is important and hides the details. The front and back sides of the ghurra are symmetrical H 31 cm, , width 9.5 cm , Thickness 3 cm

This mug was gifted and engraved on the bottom in 1969. In excellent condition, it measures 6 1/4" from bottom to top of handle, 5 1/2" from bottom to top of tankard, and 4 3/4" in diameter.

Jeannette Glass Company made Holiday from 1947-50's. There are no chips or cracks in the glass. Thanks for looking.

Vintage clear cloisonné lidded box, employing the plique-a-jour technique, lovely muted pastel colors with a “pierced” lid, most likely meant to be a potpourri to put scented herbs and flower petals in. This is a complicated and time consuming craft- please note that the bottom is cloisonné as well as having some curvature to the lid - it would have been much easier just to give it a copper bottom and making the lid flat...
