The Crinkle pattern was produced by Morgantown glass company in the late 1930's and into the 1960's. This is the 12 oz tumbler in ruby. The tumbler is 5 inches high and in perfect condition. This is a wedding shawl from Indus Kohistan in the province of Pakistan formerly known as NWFP (North-West Frontier Province). Comprised of two large rectangular panels which are densely embroidered in floss silk thread, it is embellished with colored sequins, brass mirrors and decorative metal trinkets, with corded and beaded tassels on the outer edges. A tall amber-colored, signed art deco era decanter, made by Moser. Overall, the decanter is in good condition (the decanter has been examined under black-light: there are no cracks in the decanter) - there are some chips however (the biggest one shown in the last picture). The tall decanter is 20 1/2 inches (52 cm) tall and 5 1/2 inches (14 cm) wide at the bottom. It is signed on its bottom (also, a similar decanter is shown on page 141 of Baldwin's book, 'Moser Artistic Glass edition two').

Fenton made this peach crested 7" Fan Vase in the 1940's. It is in mint condition.

This lovely Bizen ware is called Kogo / incense container used for Japanese tea ceremony. The shape is a seed of wisteria suitable for tea ceremony in autumn / winter. This is the work of a potter Yoshimoto Shuho. Shuho was born in 1938 in Okayama prefecture and studied pottery under Fujita Yoshiro. After Shuho became independent, he first produced Bizen ware for 10 years...

This doll has a lot going for her. (The lines that you see on her face are two seams and the rest are slight ripples in the fabric that are catching the light, there are no tears). She is all original and she is an older woman with gray hair. She has a tired expression on her face but her face is still kindly looking. Pair of early 20th C Tiffin yellow Vaseline glass candle holders with barley twist stems supported by a bell base with an etched floral design. All my photos are shot in natural light against a white or black background. The candleholders are heavy in weight and look much better than I could capture in the photos. You will not be disappointed. They will glow bright green under black light. Measure 9.5" high x 5" diameter at base.

Rare semi antique supplementary warp silk embroidery on handspun indigo cotton, blanket from the diverse Tai ethnic group Vietnam/Laos. I collected this in Chiang Mai around 15 years ago and would date it around 50 to 90 years old. Nowadays you just can’t find this sort of textile anymore. Some minor embroidery losses but overall in very good condition. Dimensions: 80cm/31.5in x 137cm/53in.

This old Uzbek napramach (also known as a mafrash among the Turkmen tribes) is from northern Afghanistan and is embroidered in silk thread on a grey plainweave cotton background. The medallion and geometric motifs reflect the Greek artistic legacy which influenced the urban weaving workshops of Bactria, a satrap of Alexander the Great's eastern empire. Similar motifs are found in ancient Greek vase designs and also in Chinese neolithic pottery...

A large shiwan (shekwan) sculpture of an Aesthetic riding a pomegranate red foo lion. The glaze is thick and glass-like with a natural crackle that only comes from age. The clay’s color and some ash residue (a good thing) indicate that this piece was fired in a dragon kiln about 5 - 15 miles upstream from Foshan. The Immortal’s robes are glazed with a rich translucent celadon color. There are two peaches at his side and he is holding a single peach in his upright hand...
