Rare hand blown Bohemian style Murano Glass cobalt blue tea set with applied white enameled flowers in high relief, monogrammed saucers and footed cups. Custom made and purchased on Murano Island, Venice, Italy in the 1900's. Total of 22 pieces, 2 of which are lids, the set offers teapot with lid (8.25" high), sugar with lid (4.5" high), creamer (5.25" high), 5 large footed cups (3.75" high), 6 small footed cups (3" high), 6 saucers (5.5" diameter).

Himalayan boxwood carved flaming scepter used as a ritual object with pointed end. Well-patinated Shamanic usage.

Vintage Japanese wood carving of the face of Bodhidarma with his fly whisk. Also known as Daruma, the legendary intensity of the monk is expressed in his downturned mouth and heavy eye brows over wide eyes. A popular sign of good fortune for any business. Lacquered details in red, white and black.

DESCRIPTION: A lovely mounted crib quilt in a tumbling blocks pattern, the colors making the optical illusion of six point stars. Quilt is mounted with light sewing onto stapled muslin, and can be hung in two directions. From the collection of a Pawling, New York collector. DIMENSIONS: 39" x 54".

Pair of Chinese celadon bottle vases with an overall crackle. The top rims have a brown wash, while the base rims are left unglazed. The base glazed in the same celadon colour. The insides glazed white or else a lighter shade of celadon. Also crackle. Unmarked.

Condition: Good condition, no breaks or cracks (Please refer to pictures)

A Chinese puddingstone snuffbottle, possibly for the Tibetan market. The mottled red to white stone with all-over striations with a silver stopper with coral cap.

Red puddingstone is supposed to be the rarest colour.

Vintage East Indian altar shrine, made from brass with copper nails. The step base leads into the shrine with embossed tree panels behind four pillars. The top of the structure has two peacock shaped finials. Openwork repeating patterns and floral motifs are shown throughout.

Japanese woodblock print by Okiie Hashimoto (1899-1993). # 2/60 in its series, titled "Quiet A (Nagasaki)", signed in pencil. Red cartouche in upper righthand corner.

Hashimoto was born off the coast of the Tottori Prefecture of Japan in 1899. He graduated from the College of Art in Tokyo in 1923 and continued his studies under Itaru Tanabe and Shod Hirata...
