At first appearance, one might think this in the style of western Native America rock art or primitive Australian aboriginal art, due to the abstracted human figure and geometric forms. Decoy of a Canada Goose, dimensions roughly 28" by 9" by 8", weight 8 1/2 pounds, unsigned. I am not able to attribute this to any particular carver. As an art dealer I cannot claim to be a specialist in duck and goose decoys, but I think this has some age, circa mid 20th century. There is convincing wear, and a deep split in the wood along the left side, as if from the wood drying over time. A fine piece of folk art for the home. Came from a high end Beverly Hills estate.

Large Art Deco ceramic sculpture by Charles Catteau (France, 1880-1966)for Boch Freres Keramis, circa 1925-1935, depicting an ice skating couple. In excellent condition. Small glaze skip on the shoulder of the woman (original to the piece). Signed with Boch Freres La Louviere circular printed mark and inscribed 1133 on the bottom. Also inscribed "BFK Ch. Catteau" underglaze on the base. Approximately 13" tall.

Chinese low bowl done in famille verte with a reticulated rim done in a dark blue glaze. The plate shows 4 men enjoying outdoor activities by a lake in a mountainside setting. The underside contains a red Lingzhi fungus mark.

Condition: Good condition, no breaks and/or cracks. Some minor wear to the enamels

Colonial Teak and Brass Campagne Letter box, with fitted interior compartments . The center section lifts out . Large and heavy at 18 pounds . Hard to find these with such a nice interior. the one loss is the front brass corner but a back corner could be moved to the front so its not noticable. Size 18" by 10" by 12" and 18 pounds.

This large, brilliant, cut glass pitcher, measures 11" tall x 5 1/4" diameter on the bottom. I am not an expert on cut glass, but I know a good piece when I see it, and this is one of them. Although I cannot find a signature, I'm sure the pattern will be identifiable to an expert who knows their patterns. There are a couple of very minor flakes at the top, otherwise in perfect condition.

Antique Chinese red lacquered and gold leaf wood panel well detailed carving of figures in a forest one on an ox very well carved faces , no losses in the carving area on a custom stand. Size h 7" on stand 8" w 6" d 2"

A very handsome set of twelve sterling silver coffee spoons in a hammered Arts & Crafts design reminiscent of Georg Jensen. The design is very well-conceived, with the arching rows of beads echoing the slightly round indentations left by the hammering process. The spoons are just a bit larger than traditional demitasse spoons, but certainly smaller than teaspoons. The backs are stamped with the guarantee mark of Christian Frederik Heise, who was assay-master in Denmark from 1904 until 1932...

Chinese Song style clair de lune glaze peach-shaped water pot, moulded with five flying bats around the upper part of the peach-shaped body and two lotus buds in relief issuing from the bottom, applied exterior overall with clair de lune glaze. Interior glazed bluish-white, the base left unglazed. No markings.
