Japanese Cedar Wood large Pot Cover or Lid, with reddish finish Japanese style Folk Art dramatic Samurai style Handle on top, 11 1/2" diameter, 5" high, the condition is used condition, one small area was restored with nails some time ago.

A fine larger carving in emerald of a Lion head Fetish Pendant, Native American, probably Zuni, Navaho tribe and 20th. century.

The carving is cut and polished in one emerald stone and depicts an Lion. Interestingly, this can be carried on a string as a pendant due to the loop in front. The stone is transperant light blue-green and very beautiful.

Zuni fetishes are small carvings made from primarily stone but also shell, fossils, and other materials by the Zuni people...

Vintage green stained staghorn obidome (sash ornament) carved as a running lizard. Obidome is worn on an obi cord that holds the obi sash together, it is the only type of jewelry worn by Japanese women on formal occasions, and could serve as netsuke as well. Clever design, good quality carving, nice finish and patina, two metal fittings on the back for an obi cord. Length 2 inches.

Morgantown Ockner Green Pitcher was made in the 1930's. This 50 oz. pitcher is in mint condition. Stands 8" high.

Sterling Silver Rim and Cut and Etched clear Crystal heavy weight Bowl and Matching Saucer, Ca. 1930's, 4 3/4" diameter top and 2 3/4" high(bowl), 6" diameter and 3/4" high(saucer), with clean clear Crystal cut design and Sterling Silver rim, both marked "Sterling" "7354" on the side of the rim. The condition is good, heavy weight.

This eye-catching bakelite bracelet is yellow and a woody brown. Excellent condition.

Round decorative tile of an early steamship atop a Sherwin-Williams-type schematic earth, diameter 7 3/8" and about 7/8" thick at the edges. This is a hand crafted and no doubt unique piece; hand painted, and glazed. On the reverse is scratched into the ceramic what I take to be apparently the date: "11-7-22". There are two holes drilled at the top, through which a wire has been strung, to allow this to hang on a wall. See several thousand paintings, drawings and prints in my shop.

This Chinese hair comb was hand carved from a beautifully "grained" translucent animal horn. Obtained from an ethnic minority person, the pair of ducks carved into the handle were commonly used by mainstream Han Chinese as a symbol of a long and happy marriage. Items with this symbol would often be gifted for an anniversary.

An unframed old watercolor painting of tall trees in a Japanese forest, 19 1/2" by 13", signed at lower right by listed artist TOKUSABURO KOBAYASHI (1884-1949). There is old Japanese yellowed newspaper from THE HOCHI SHIMBUN used as cushioning between the watercolor paper and the old wood backing panel. Kobayashi was active in the first part of the century as a watercolorist. Frame with archival materials to enjoy this fine watercolor of a (cedar?) forest.

Japanese set of two(2) graduated size Red Lacquer Trays with gold lacquer decoration, made before 1940's, smaller tray fit inside larger tray, larger tray-1 3/8" high, 10 1/2" square with rounded corner, smaller tray-1 1/8" high 9 7/8" square with rounded corner, with three(3) circle floral design in gold on top of the red Lacquer background. Japanese glass ojime in a form of tombodama bead with white core and two birds on a long branch with leaves and flowers. Tombodama can be translated as “dragonfly ball” and the name is thought to come about because when the molten glass is applied to the core bead it resembles a dragonfly’s eye. Superbly made piece - see the individual petals and leaves, in perfect condition. Height 3/4 inches.
