Condition: Excellent color and condition. The back margin edges are toned. The back top margin has three pieces of archival tape.

A good bronze footed trumpet vase by Carl Sorensen. The surface is patinated in a dark mottled green and is enhanced with parallel engraved lines forming bands decorated in a darker green patination. The small foot makes this one of Sorensen's more unusual vase designs. Sorensen made a variety of decorative metalwares, but little is known about him. He worked in Pennsylvania, and his pieces were possibly sold by Roycroft and Tiffany...

Art Deco patinated bronze and copper ashtray, candy or catchall dish with gazelle. Measures 7.5" high x 6.25 diameter.

Stoneware vase by Arne Bang around 1940, with an applied twig of flowers and a very light matte glaze. Signed with the AB monogram and 184, the model number in Bang's sketch book. Height "3 ½ / 9 cm: Condition: some roughness to the underside of the second flower, otherwise fine.

This delightful bracelet with the look of Art Nouveau Winged Putti, putto, angel, baby, Ornate Openwork as only the Boston Italian silversmiths could make during first half of 20th Century. Comfortable fit for the dainty wrist at 6 1/2" long, perhaps a custom made piece but for a wrist that measures no more than 5 3/4"...

A set of four unusual small dishes enclosed in the original signed wooden box by Kitaoji Rosanjin (1883-1959), one of Japans most famous 20th century artists. Iron reds underlie the pale earthen glaze, with a dollop of Oribe green on one side. Almost as if planned, the pieces have firing cracks filled with black lacquer, adding a fourth consideration to the standard essentials: form, design and glazing.
