Early Showa period Japanese black silk woman's formal kimono with long sleeves decorated on the bottom of the front, back, and interior with a continuous ukiyo-e scene featuring commoners engaged in various activities in a village. Five family mon (crests) are at the shoulder area. The lining is red. Circa 1930s. Measures 48 1/2" sleeve tip to sleeve tip and about 49 1/2" long. Very good overall condition. Offered is this Rene Lalique perfume atomizer made for 'Le Parisien' of France around 1925. The glass shows four female figures. It is 3 inches (7,5 cm) tall. The glass is in fine condition, part of the metal atomizer missing. The glass is marked, 'R Lalique', the metal is marked, 'Le Parisien Made in France'.

A charming Sawankhalok celadon glazed figure of an Ox Face (Chinese Sung style celadon)glazed Lime pot. Wonderful mini pot with tall neck and a well molded ox face with cobalt accented horns , one tip broken and the glaze on top of his curling tail has lost its glaze.

Superb and extremely rare silverplated cocktail shaker in the "Ile de France" pattern by Meriden Britannia Plate Co. This is one of the most desirable of the high style Art Deco shakers. The ocean liner "Ile de France" was launched in 1926--not as the largest ship afloat, but intentionally as the most elegant ship in the world. This shaker was intended to celebrate that achievement and took its streamlined design elements from the ship itself...

A terrific set of 12 Art Deco silverplated knife rests. The design on the ends combines severely linear elements with bas-relief details—the ultimate in Art Deco styling. Each “porte-couteau” is marked with unidentified French hallmarks.

It is 15.2 inches (38.5 cm) tall by 10.75 inches (27.3 cm) wide. It is 6.6 Lb.

It has been repaired where one corner has a small piece glued back. It also has small gaps, chips, cracks, surface wears and scratches, peeling of lacquer, and the bottom is glued to the stand (as seen in the photos).
