A fine and large stoneware dish by Sakuma Totaro (1900~1979). Decorated with a flowering plum tree against a transparent ash glazed ground. The back is plain and glazed with a clear ash glaze. Mid 20th century.

The original wood storage box (tomobako) lid is inscribed in ink with a title and the signature of the potter with his red seal.

This pretty crystal clear Windsor, aka Diamond, depression glass 8 1/4 inch square three-part Relish Tray was made by Jeannette Glass from 1932 to 1946. This relish tray measures 1 inch high and is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. There is a 1 inch mold line on the surface of the tray, which was done in the making of the tray and does not take away from it's beauty. Eight(8) Czechoslovakia EPIAG Porcelain Demitasse cup and saucers, Cups-1 3/4" high, 2 7/8" diameter top rim and Saucers-4 3/4" diameter, Pink Rose on white design on white porcelain, marked on the bottom "EPIAG", "made in Czechoslovakia" in green. Two(2) saucers has hairline glaze cracks in the center area.

In Venice Italy, these Obelisks were recently included in Fondazione Cini's exhibition "Paolo Venini and His Furnace," and are documented in the exhibition catalogue, page 308, model 4300. Constructed of thick canes twisted into a zanfrico design, this is a fine example of utilizing the traditional Venetian technique of zanfrico in a modern expression. The Obelisk has the 2 acid stamps: venini murano, made in Italy, measures 8" tall, and is in good condition.
