A fairly large Korean style Buddhist painting portraying the image of the Water Moon Avalokitesvara or Suwol Gwaneum in Korean. The Avalokitesvara is dressed in vestments and accessories common to the figure of a Bodhisattva and has the water vessel which offers blessings to all sentient beings. The bodhisattva is attended by a boy figure known as shan nanzi who often seen in pictorial and textual depictions in East Asian Buddhism. Age: 20th century. Size: height 105.5" width 53"

Pair of Cranes Painting and Poem by Korean Buddhist Monk Su An Sunim (born 1940). The crane is a an ancient symbol of longevity and immortality. Because cranes were believed to stay with one mate for their lifetime, it is also a symbol of faithful love. When the crane is paired like this, the meanings of immortality and fidelity combine to mean eternal love. The flying-white brushwork and ink washes here display Su An Sunim's mastery of zen art at its best...

These are Cambridge open salts are 1 1/2" square circa 1910. Westmoreland Silver made the sterling salt spoons circa 1940. Both the salt dip and the salt spoon are in excellent condition.

A large well rendered bronze rhinosaurus of an African white rhino. This realistic rhino has heavily textured skin, wrinkles and folds at its neck and legs, and its tail is contoured around the back leg. In excellent condition, it measures 18.5" long, 8.25" high, 6.25" wide.

Chinese Scholar’s two-tier solid rosewood stand with carved boxwood edges. Produced in the 1950s, this is actually a copy of a 17th - early 18th century style that was made of zitan and edged in boxwood. A strong stand that will hold your heaviest object, the pieces were machine made with rough carvings, hand assembled (pegged and glued), and then hand finished and polished. In excellent condition, the stand measures 12” long x 7.25" wide x 4” high.

This really pretty crystal clear elegant glass two-piece Chintz Cheese and Cracker snack set was made by Fostoria Glass from 1940 to 1976. The indented cracker plate measures 10 3/4 inches in diameter. The footed cheese comport measures 3 inches in diameter X 5 inches high. The comport sits on the large plate. An antique pair of Chinese vases with lingzhi mushroom outcrops on a craggy rock platform. The lingzhi mushroom is a symbol of longevity and health. The platform could display an object. These wares originated out of kilns in the Shiwanzhen sub-district within the city of Foshan, going as far back as the Neolithic period. Each vase is pigmented with custard yellow and aubergine.
