A Rare Pair of Sterling Silver Candlesticks from George Jensen, USA, designed by Alphonse LaPaglia. Dimensions; 5" high x 4" at the base; weight, 14.6 Troy ounces. Circa; 1941-1950. Excellent condition. Jensen USA was operated by Frederik Lunning during and just after the war, when merchandise from Denmark was unavailable. He was the director of Jensen Operations in the US. LaPaglia was one of the designers working with him.

This is a small round Continental silver repousse Vinagrette box made in Italy, circa 1925, the lid having a pictorial scene with a man playing the cello to an audience surrounded by a scroll border, the sides with swags and garlands, gilt wash inside, marks worn but decipherable, fleur de lys Makers Mark, MADE IN ITALY, COPPINI, 800; Measures 1 5/8 in. diameter. Overall condition is very good with some wear to the gilt. A nice container to hold pills or a tooth for the Good Fairy.

This is an outstanding 19th century Chinese Export enamel cloisonne round-form planter with floral decoration on a turquoise ground standing on three brass feet; rich coloration. Measures 8.75 opening x 4 in. tall. Cloisonne and enamel near perfect, wear to enamel inside. This planter does have three feet although the angle of photo obscures one of the them.

This is a pale blue Ando Jubei box depicting a shrine among pine trees, the design flowing down the front side of the piece. Enameled in both standard silver wire and wireless technique and measuring 5.25" x 4", the box is brocade lined and is marked junjin on the inner rim.

Condition: Minor wear to the bottom, and hairlines to the sides of the top as illustrated in the final two photographs.
