This is the largest size Thule vase made by Holmgaard.
The vase, made in smoke grey glass, is 9 1/4 inches (23.2 cm) in diameter, and stands 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm) tall at the highest point. It tapers to 3 1/8 inches (7.9 cm) at the base.
It is in excellent, near mint condition, with no discernable scratches (except for those expected on the base), and no chips cracks or repairs. Absolutely beautiful piece of glass!
The base is signed Holmgaard/1961 with Per Lutken's cypher

Anchor Hocking Bubble (Boopie) 6 oz. Sherbet were made from 1940-65 (3.5" tall). Not often labeled Bubble, it is commonly called Boopie. Many people purchase this less costly style to compliment Imperials' Candlewick. I have included a second photo showing the four sizes available for comparison. This is the fourth in the row of four. DESCRIPTION: A beautifully painted, very large Mexican charger (or platter) with a dark blue outer rim framing two birds perched in a tree, surrounded by scrolling green foliage, large flowers and yellow fruit. Dating from the 1960's, on the reverse is written "Mexico"; the back is pierced with holes for hanging. Excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
