A delicate antique Chinese Tea Box with exquisitely decorated gilt relief. It has a pewter box lining with a glass knob. The lacquer shows images of a pavillion setting with trees and a border of flowers. The pewter box has a primitive etching of scholars with rocks and grasses. The interior top is lacquer with two gold fronds.

The Chinese Mandarin Court Necklace or Chao Zhu was an insignia of rank during the Qing dynasty. The Mandarin Necklace is comprised of 108 beads; 4 sections of 27 beads each. The beads in this necklace are amethyest, agate, Chinese Peking glass and one medallion with the Chinese symbol, Shou for longevity.

An amusing tonkotsu, a container for tobacco, skillfully carved in wood as a man emerging from a basket! His clasped hands pierced to allow a suspension cord, not present. The eyes are inlaid and the base has a mother of pearl signature tablet.
A 20th century production but hand carved.

Six small dessert or fruit bowls in the Splendid collection by Bohemian Moser, Karlsbad, Exquisitely diamond-cut and faceted, the border with a relief pattern in 24 carat gold. Designed in 1911, Splendid turned out to be a success in the international expositions of the time. It is still being produced and is part of royal and stately dining settings all over the world. Diameter "5 ¼ / 13 cm, height "1/ 2.7 cm. This set is probably from around 1950. Condition: three bowls with wear to the gilt.
Chinese monochrome yellow Peking Glass brush pot. Historically, many pieces of Peking glass were made with yellow glass (dubbed "Imperial Yellow") due to the colors' strong association with the Qing Imperial clan of Aisin Gioro. The glass was commonly used in vases and brush pots where it was used to imitate the harder to work jade and other precious stones.

Japanese sosaku hanga woodblock print depicting a pavilion in the woods near a pond by Inui Tai (b. 1929). The artist was active from the end of the 1940s through the 1980s and was heavily influenced by the work of Shiko Munakata. Paper size: 12 1/2" x 12 1/2" (image: 9 3/8" x 11 3/8"). Very good overall condition with some wrinkling to the fine paper and minor soiling to the bottom margin edge. Rare Japanese sosaku hanga woodblock print by Shiogoshi Yoshinori (b. 1935) depicting a bird standing on one leg set against a background with a strong wood grain. The body of the bird resembles a fish produced using the gyotaku printing method. Pencil-signed, dated 1959, and titled in kanji "Bird." Paper: 17 3/4" x 10 3/4" (image: 15 3/8" x 8 1/2"). Illustrating the virtuosity of both the dancer and the Murano Maestros' skill, this series is documented in Marc Heiremans' "Seguso Vetri D'Arte", P. 93, model #5350, 1939. Measuring 8"h x4"w and is in excellent condition.

Early 20th Century porcelain figurine of a Japanese entertainer dressed in a brightly colored kimono and holding a fan. The lady measures about 7" tall x 6" wide. Her condition is excellent/perfect. The asking price includes shipping within the USA.
This porcelain demitasse or mocha cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Rosenthal in 1929. The saucer measures 4 inches in diameter and the cup is 1 ½ inches high. The set has a bright marigold yellow ground. Heavy silver overlay in art deco style decorates both pieces. The design is linear and geometric at the same time. The size and shape are great for after dinner coffee.

Fenton Pink Ming etched bowl measures 12" x 11" x 4". Produced from 1935-39. " There is a flea bite on the underside on one of the polished legs pads. I do have a clearer photo. Please, if interested, ask. Otherwise, for an 80 year old bowl, it is in good condition.
