PAIR OF MOUNTED OLD CHINESE JADE CARVING PLAQUES, DATING TO THE REPUBLIC PERIOD
A fine pair of larger carvings of an old man and a boy with a bird and two boys in a garden. Finely made and mounted in a low grade silver metal mounts, so that they can be carried and used as ornaments. Both carved in a white/celadon jade.
Size: ca. 70 mm. long each and weighing 107 grams total.
This spoon commemorates Tonie, Hattie, & Meta. On the obverse is the place "Berlin" and the front is the date 1892. The mark appears to be 800 silver. I do not know the other marks.This spoon is 5 3/4" long

One of Fenton earliest molds, Waterlillies and Cattails with a marigold carnival finish on clear glass. Produced in 1908. Tumblers are 4" tall. Two are available and are in mint condition.

Condition: Chipped corner and light creasing.
Cap mask or headdress carved from wood, covered with antelope skin and with a base of woven basketry for attachment to the head of the masquerade. Two antelope horns are affixed to the top of the mask. Remnants of human hair around the top of the piece. Several holes beneath the upper jaw suggest the former existence of wooden pegs to represent teeth. Africa, Nigeria, Ekoi/Ejagham Peoples, early 20th century, probably older...
An unmarked but Arts and Crafts period bud vase with a square and austere silver plated base and a hand blown and pulled square glass vase insert with a flared neck c1890-1900. This vase measures 7/8" across the base and it stands 6" high; it has all of the handcrafted style expected in the Arts and Crafts European style of this era. We were informed that it probably came from Scotland originally...

A large Chinese export silver Good Fortune brooch circa 1900. This pin measures 2-1/2" across; it has a c-clasp and it is unmarked (but has been tested as high grade silver). This item is in excellent antique condition with no scrapes, dents, monograms, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use...

This hollow handle silver plate monogrammed luncheon / desert forks are 7 3/4" long. They have the monogram "F" barely visible. They show some signs of wear on on obverse. They are the 1847 Rogers Bros. This was made in 1904.

A beautiful hand painted Willets Belleek handled bowl with fancy crimped rim. The bowl is 5 inches in diameter and 2 3/4 inches tall. Measured across the handles, the bowl is 6 ½ inches. The underside bears the brown Willets Belleek mark used from the mid 1880's to 1909. The decoration consists of pink roses with green foliage surrounding a large gold scroll bearing a series of tuquoise beads, each of which is surounded by gold dots...
This early American Pattern Glass toothpick holder was made by McKee in 1904. It is 3 5/8" tall and not hallmarked. This pattern is called Peek-A-Boo or Cherub because it has 2 naked babies holding up a barrel (8 panel)
Reference : Glass Toothpick Holders by Bredehoft and Samford 2nd edition, page 128.- The newer ones made after 1940 have a cupped and stippled base.

This difficult to find tool-of-the trade pharmacy “IDEAL CAPSULE FILLER” was used by early 20th century druggists to enhance their capsule production. The patent date is stamped Oct. 31, 1905, and research indicates that it was produced by the "Baltimore Capsule Co."
The machine produces 2 different size capsules and has a filling plate that sports 4 parallel rows, each having the capacity of making 24 capsules. Also included are 2 capsule filling trays...
This Northwood grape and cable 9" ruffled bowl can be identified as a varian because of the tendrils that sneak into the otherwise plain center. The shape of the grape bunces is quite different. It has a collar base and basketweave exterior.

This is Japanese Indigo dye Stripe and weave beautiful hitoe kimono textile from the Taisho era to the Showa era(1910-1950). The material is silk and cotton. It does not have a stain and damage. It is in a very good state.

A small selection of sterling silver spoons in the Versailles flatware pattern, introduced by Gorham in 1888. The 6" teaspoon has an M monogram on the back of the handles and they are stamped with the Lion Anchor G mark plus STERLING COPYWRITED; they weigh 32.1 grams each. The five o'clock spoons are 5-1/8" long, they weigh 20.2 grams each, they have an under handle S monogram and they are stamped Lion Anchor G STERLING plus ST in diamonds...
This "Charter Oak: Medium solid cold meat server fork (1906)by International Silver is hallmarked 8147 Rodgers. The monogram is "M". It is silver plate. It is 8 1/2" long.

This charming millefiori Fratelli Toso Mosaica Vase has blue and green with white accents murrines arranged in alternating verticle rows, with 2 stretched cane handles and acid-matte finish. In "Fratelli Toso Italian Glass 1854-1980" author Leslie Pina dates these as made in the 1900-1910 time frame. P. 32-57.
This vase stands 5" tall, 3" diameter. The piece is in perfect condition.
