An early and rarely seen design.

An antique Chinese arm chair made of hardwood. The back rest is a carved relief of a tree with a bird and blossoms. A carved bat is hovering over the tree. The arms of the chair are rounded.

Date: Republic Period c1910.

Dimensions: 26" wide X 40" tall X 18" deep

This is an outstanding 19th century Chinese Export enamel cloisonne round-form planter with floral decoration on a turquoise ground standing on three brass feet; rich coloration. Measures 8.75 opening x 4 in. tall. Cloisonne and enamel near perfect, wear to enamel inside. This planter does have three feet although the angle of photo obscures one of the them.

A Chinese Yixing Teapot, Qing Dynasty. Width 16.3 cm(handle to tip spout) and height 9.5 cm. The teapot has a small chip at the tip spout. Good condition.

A Chinese Bronze Censer, Qing Dynasty. Diameter 13.2 cm (across handles), height 7 cm and weight 900 gram. Good condition.

A lovely early 20th century Imperial Russian wooden Easter egg with polychrome decoration of a young peasant couple engaged in a kiss. The image is very sweet and nicely detailed. The back side of the egg bears the gilt letters “XB” for “Christ is Risen.” Careful examination of the drill holes in the egg show even oxidation of unpainted surfaces and the paint has typical aligatoring, supporting a very late 19th or early 20th century age...

A pair of 19th C. Chinese old walnut shell with 18 monks carving and beautiful patina, in excellent condition. L:4.5cm/L:4.4cm

This great lamp is pictured in the book "19th Century Patterned Art Glass Chamber Lamps", pages 168 & 169. It is all original with the exception that it has been electrified. It is in beautiful condition with no breaks, chips or repairs. It measures 23" tall without the chimney x 11" wide and lights from both top and bottom.

A Rare and Exquisite Jadeite Table Screen with Hand-Carved Motifs. The green jadeite table screen depicts a traditionally dressed man standing amid bamboo and plum-trees, with two cranes dancing along. Its jadeite quality, color, and carving skills are amazingly superb. Qing Dynasty Styled. Height: 4½" (11.43 cm) Width: 9½" (24.13 cm) Height with Stand: 10¼" (26.04 cm) Highly collectible and in an excellent condition.

This is a 19th century Chinese shallow curved plate featuring a lively grouping of eight spotted blue and white horses, depicting a wedding story from Chinese mythology; unglazed footrim; greige coloration; a four-character mark on the underside; condition: several minor chips on the rim; SIZE: 5" diam.

A very large albumen print of the statue of St. George by Donatello. Originally sculpted about 1416 for the Orsanmichele in Florence, the statue and niche are now at the Bargello. The photograph is very large and dates to the last quarter of the 19th century. Since at that time there were no enlargers, the glass plate negative would have been of the same size as the image...

This is an excellent hand-carved Japanese Netsuke depicting Shoki, the demon queller, in his usual standing position, with his sword drawn. Although he appears to have captured one of them, the other Oni is playfully standing on his shoulders while pulling one of Shoki's ears. Outstanding detail and form symmetry characterizes this miniature sculpture...

Offered is a very handsome apothecary MORTAR & PESTLE from the 19th century made from lignum vitae wood.

This stunning example measures 11.5 inches high with the pestle in place and is 5.5 inches in diameter...

H: 4 ½ inches (11.43 cm)Length：7 inches (10.78 cm) Depth: 4 inches (10.16 cm)The artistically shaped teapot is carved on its bottom with a seal mark of Gongchun, the ingenious Ming Dynasty master of zisha craftsmanship. Four and half inches in height and Seven inches in length, it bears two famous lines composed by an ancient Chinese poet on the Buddhist tea ceremony. The teapot is exceptional in both its design and workmanship (A tiny chip on the inner mouth-rim).

A trinket box made from Bog Oak - a partially fossilized wood formed as a result of immersion in Irish peat bogs for approximately 5000 years. The wood has been turned and finely carved with Shamrock leaves and a central Trinity Harp and was made in Ireland in the second half of the 19th Century during the reign of Queen Victoria. Condition: excellent - no damages or losses. 7.5cm (3 inches) diameter; 6cm (2.3 inches) high.

Stunning cut glass compote from the brilliant period. I can't find a signature, but I'm sure its identifiable to an expert on patterns. It measures 8" tall x 6" diameter at the bottom, and has a tear drop stem. There is one TINY flake at the top, but other than that it looks to be in perfect condition.

An antique pair of Chinese vases with lingzhi mushroom outcrops on a craggy rock platform. The lingzhi mushroom is a symbol of longevity and health. The platform could display an object. These wares originated out of kilns in the Shiwanzhen sub-district within the city of Foshan, going as far back as the Neolithic period. Each vase is pigmented with custard yellow and aubergine.
