Beautiful slip graal bowl in maroon and clear glass, circa 1954. Intriguing floral or snowflake design at botton of bowl is the focus from which all the 'arms' of the spiral emanate, really lovely.
The piece is engraved "Orrefors S Graal Nr. 1970L Edward Hald"

Elegantly line engraved vase by Tapio Wirkkala, from the Kantarelli series he made for Iittala glassworks in 1951. Kantarelli is the Finnish word for the delicious yellow mushroom, the chanterelle. Signed Tapio Wirkkala Iittala. Height "6 ¾ / 17 cm. Condition: fine.
1960's Chinese Jadeite Carved Farmer with Wood Stand
It is 5.5 inches (14 cm) tall without stand by and 2 inches (5 cm) wide. It is 198 gram without stand.

This porcelain figurine was produced in Denmark by Bing & Grondahl between 1948 and 1951. The base is impressed with the signature of the renowned artist, Dahl Jensen. It has a model number, 1628. The peacock measures 15 inches long and 7 1/2 inches high. The modeling is well done, with excellent detail. The figurine is hand painted in natural colors. His pose displays his regal splendor.
Condition: Excellent, first quality.
This is a superior example of the celebrated (Milan Triennale 1951) Jäkälä (Lichen/Sormivaarsi (Finger) vase 3515. Produced 1950-1964. On the underside is etched Tapio Wirkkala 3515. It measures 8 1/2" (21.5cm). Mint condition.

It measures 12 1/4 inches tall and has a diameter of 5 inches. The vase has a classic baluster shape used from ancient times in the Middle East. The crackle glaze is inspired by ancient Asian porcelain. The body of the vase is sea foam green. The neck and interior of the vase is gray. There are bands of bright gold accenting it...

Bowl or dish in Sommerso technique, clear glass and grass green, designed by Vicke Lindstrand for Kosta glass works, Sweden. VL was appointed chief designer at Kosta in 1950, and the bowl was produced in the mid 50’s. Incised mark Kosta LH 1308/75 (model number), where L is for Lindstrand and H means artisanal, made by hand. Height "2 / 5 and width "3 ¾ / 9.5 cm. Condition: fine.

Vintage bronze vase with patterns of butterflies made by an artist named, Nobuharu. The piece contains an inscription dating to March of 1953 where students from Tojo Photo Studio gave the vase to their teacher in celebrating the 40th anniversary of their studio. Here is a rare and important ariel vase by the master Edvin Ohrstrom for Orrefors. The zig zag design on a blood red background is spectacular. The vase, in excellent condition, measures 7 1/4" (18cm) tall. On the underside is incised Orrefors, Sweden, Edvin Ohrstrom, the date code Ariel 1055E.
This beautiful shibori (tie-dye) is already cut to make a haori jacket. The skinny pieces under the arms are cut and attached by someone who knows what he is doing. It has not gone through Yunoshi, the process to stretch shibori using steam. The size of this gown is extremely small at this moment because a regular kimono roll (for short kimono) is used to make into shibori fabric. 36 inches x 16 1/2 inches long with 9 inches hemming tacked inside...
This porcelain group was produced in Denmark by Bing & Grondahl between 1955 and 1957. The model number is 1524. It measures 3 inches high by 3 inches wide. The figure is modeled with fine detail. The fur, toes and fingers are all well defined. Their facial expressions give these little imps charm. They are hand painted in earth tones.
Condition: They are in excellent, original condition with a minor glaze pit. This is mentioned for accuracy.

This small jade (nephrite) carved brush washer is 2 3/8” long, 1 3/8” high and 1 3/4” thick. It is a mid-20th century product. It depicts a pomegranate surrounded by a peach branch and leaves. It is in excellent condition.
