Rather unusual 1930s Japanese porcelain covered inkstone with underglaze decoration. The side of the base is inscribed with a very long text, the top of the cover has a short poem and a figure of a man in robe lighting his pipe from ambers in the brazier. Possibly Arita ware, very nice modeling of the central raised area with rougher side surface for grinding ink, remnants if dried ink in the well...

Fenton Pink Ming etched bowl measures 12" x 11" x 4". Produced from 1935-39. " There is a flea bite on the underside on one of the polished legs pads. I do have a clearer photo. Please, if interested, ask. Otherwise, for an 80 year old bowl, it is in good condition.

Fostoria made these lustres from 1930-40. A simple 4.5" base rising to an 8.5" stick with attached bobeche cascading with hanging crystals. This pair are in excellent condition, the tips of the crystals are best described as weathered, not sharp but obviously dulled by time. The sticks are yellow with permanently attached bobeche. Pattern #2436 is are considered RARE.

This really pretty pink Mayfair Open Rose Depression glass 5 3/4 inch high Water Goblet was made by Hocking from 1931 to 1937. This Goblet measures 3 1/4 inches in diameter at the top and is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or scratches. Pair Japanese Blue and White Porcelain Soba Noodle Cups, Showa period, early 1900's, 3 1/8" high, 2 5/8" diameter-top rim, with transfered blue design on white, signed on the bottom. The condition is good, some missed glaze spots on the rim.

Quilt made of wool rectangles of different wool fabric separated by pink stitching, Pennsylvania, c.1930's. The rectangles measure 4 1/2" by 3 1/4" and the quilt is 38" by 60". There is a 1" border of an interesting fabric. That fabric is the back with an interesting pattern of solid color strips of fabric. very good condition with a small amount of wear at the back of the strips of fabric, otherwise, the front is excellent......$75 for insured USA shipping.

Japanese shin hanga woodblock print titled “Senshun” (Early Spring) depicting a moga (modern girl) wearing a fashionable fur stole and knit hat, her hair cut in a short curly bob, from the series “Showa Bijin” by Shinsui Ito (1898-1972) published as a newspaper insert in 1931. Beautiful red and white sunbonnet quilt, c.1930's. There are 18 sunbonnets girls and the quilt measures 68" by 90". The fabric seems to be a sort of rayon, perhaps, as it has a sheen. The all around red scalloped edging is 4 1/2" wide and the backing is all white. There are some light brown stains around on one of the sunbonnets(see photo). Otherwise, excellent condition. Dresden Plate design quilt, c.1930's. The white cotton quilt measures 55" by 76" and there are 12 squares, made of different patterns, with a pink patterned border.
