Japanese Satsuma ware obidome (obi broach) made of ceramic and decorated with orange blossoming chrysanthemums. This three dimensional obidome is painted with gold details and has a slot in the back through which an obijime cord can be strung. With signed kiri wood tomobako.

This pair of glass candlesticks was produced in Europe. They are unmarked but we think that they are Bohemian, made in the 1920's. They are 8 3/4 inches high and the base has a diameter of 5 1/4 inches. The glass has a lead content and makes a ringing sound when tapped. They are hand blown and joined in four parts. They have pontils on the bottoms. The shape creates an elegant, sleek silhouette...

1930's Chinese Gilt Cloisonne Enamel Stool

It is 18.7 inches (47.5 cm) tall by 15 inches (38 cm) wide.

Its bottom has missing enamels, enamel bruising, enamel chips, bent metals, and bent metal rims. It also has rubbing of gilt and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

Important pair of Taisho Period c. 1921 bronze zen buddhist temple lamps with lacquered wood stands. Inscribed on lamps is date and village of temple. Stands are older from Meiji Period C.1890. Inscribed are parishiners names. Great condition. Stands 31" x 18"; lamps 25" x 11". Ask for shipping quote.

Consolidated Glass Company produced the Catalonian line in 1927. It was made to look like glass found in Catalonia Spain at the archaeological sites, and had bubbles and raised rings blown into the glass. This is the #1112 8 inch plate in emerald green. Excellent condition, price is per plate. Tableware is very difficult to find in this pattern, so get them while you can. A lidded box by French Longwy. Crackle glaze and enamelled relief decoration in brilliant colours, in the Oriental style typical of Longwy. Model number: 1504, pattern number 5685, c 1920-30. Printed greenrk "Longwy emaux"/enamels and signature in black: S.F. Width "5¼/ 13 cm and height "2¼/ 5,5 cm. Condition: fine.

This sterling souvenir spoon depicting King Kamehameha was made by the Charles M. Robbins Co. circa 1900-1926.

A 7 ½ inch tall Moser goblet, cranberry to clear with faceted stem and hexagonal foot. The hexagonal foot is gold enameled with srollwork which is matched in facets on the cup. The cranberry upper half of the cup is decorated with small curlicues and six cartouches of two different alternating shapes. The smaller vertical cartouches display pink roses and blue flowers with yellow centers. The larger reserves have pink and white flowers along with decorative scrollwork...

An old Japanese temple lantern made entirely of bronze. Sacred jewel called Hoju is represented in the finial. Hinged door allows access to the interior.

An English Bursley Ware bowl by Charlotte Rhead, 1940s, of square shape. Slip-glaze decoration in the Carnations or T. L. 40 pattern in blue and gilt on off-white, marbled ground. Factory mark and TL 40 = pattern number and the mark of the painter who applied the raised decoration, Mary Powell. Height "2¼/ 6 cm, width (diagonally) "4¾/ 12 cm. Condition: fine. Please note that all the little dots and accents that unfortunately look brown on the photos are really in gilt.

Fostoria Glass Company made the 'Tut' vase in the mid 1920's when all things Egyptian were in style - along with the 'Art Deco' movement. This vase is 6 1/2 inches tall and in perfect condition. See my other listing for a black (called Ebony by Fostoria) Tut vase to compliment this one.

An unsigned Moser style cordial standing 6 inches high. The colorless 4 3/4 inch tall stem is topped by a 1 1/4 inch tall cup decorated with 2 blue marquetry plums and engraved leaves and stems in green. There is no pontil mark and the cordial is perfect.

The 1920's and 30's was the age of the cocktail party, and the jewelry was characterized by vivid colors and sparkling diamonds. Cuban influences helped guide art deco design toward strong rectilinear geometry. This diamond ring is classic art deco. It is almost a full inch long and .5 inches deep at its widest. The platinum band has engraving.

Rare and impressive Art Deco ceramic vase by Edouard Cazaux (France, 1889, 1974), in a classic Cazaux baluster form decorated with abstracted foliate designs in his hallmark teal and silver crackle glazes over a white crackle enamel. Almost 13" high, approximately 10" across. Remnants of the classic Cazaux signature on the bottom (partially worn off). Circa 1930.

A tall amber-colored, signed art deco era decanter, made by Moser. Overall, the decanter is in good condition (the decanter has been examined under black-light: there are no cracks in the decanter) - there are some chips however (the biggest one shown in the last picture). The tall decanter is 20 1/2 inches (52 cm) tall and 5 1/2 inches (14 cm) wide at the bottom. It is signed on its bottom (also, a similar decanter is shown on page 141 of Baldwin's book, 'Moser Artistic Glass edition two').

An impressive Art Déco period ceramic mantel clock set, marble glazed. From the 1920’s, French or Belgian, unmarked. Width of centre piece " 12 ½ / 32 cm, height of side pieces "6 ½ / 17 cm. Condition: The original clock has never been repaired (works only sporadically) and there are a few rim frits to the back (cf. last picture).

Offered is this pair of Le Verre Francais (Schneider), French cameo glass vases, made around 1920. The vases are 7 1/4 inches (18,5 cm) and 7 inches (18 cm) tall respectively - as in most hand-made items, there is a slight variation in sizes. Both are signed with etched signatures. Except for a chip in the foot of one vase (see last picture), both vases are in good condition.

Chinese Copper Cloisonné Enamel Box and 2 Trays smoke Set . Beautiful cloisonne or enamel on tooled copper Humidor and 2 small tray , perfect for weed storage and a small trays for sorting or pipe filling. Perfect stash box for the discerning 420 smoker.
