Beautiful green gold silver silk bed cover made of the bottom trim from antique wedding saris . The cover fits a queen, the seams are somewhat delicate and a few have seperated but easily fixed with double sided iron tape I fixed a few spots over the years . This was used in a spare guest suite. Japanese silk fukusa with yuzen technique and sumi-e hand painting. The shimmering effect of the water was achieved by the delicate use of silver surihaku. Red embroidery on the crane’s head and some white embroidery on tail feathers highlight those features. On the reverse is red rinzu silk with a large peony motif. All four original tassels are still intact. There is a break in the boarder thread in the upper left corner (see last photo) but could be repaired...

This rare jar has a wide mouth over a short neck with the ovoid body tapering to a short foot. Song dynasty, Henan wares.

These types of jars are made by using clays of two different colours. The top and bottom are then made separate and joined together horizontally.

Condition: On this jar, in a section, the top and bottom has separated along the horizontal luting line. A picture has been provided showing this separation...

These Aladdin Jewel Case Parisian Bronze Lamps are 14 1/2" to the top of the finial. Both have new harps. There is some color highlights on the bronze that does not show in the pictures. Most of the color has worn off. The front of the base is 6 3/4" wide and 6" deep to the back leg. The animals on the top of the jewel case appear to be dragons.

I believe this to be a Jeannette hand decorated and colors fired in reverse painted lamp. If I am wrong, please email me.

The shade is 13.75" in diameter. The scene on the lamp is repeated 3 times on the shade. It is 6 1/2" tall.

The 2 socket base is cast iron covered with a felt. There are no hallmarks anywhere that I can find on the shade, the base, the cap.

The lamp stands 19 1/2" tall to the top of the finial.

There are no chips, no cracks, and no repairs to this lamp...
