This mask represents a tiger, note a very fine work of sculpture with the gouge, the deep carvings are highlighted with a white coloring. Very hard wood, the inside shows the natural patina of oxidized wood over time. Very good age likelu first part of the 20th or even earlier. H 21 cm, width 20 cm.

The two male deer are Nigrodha and Sakha, part of a specially poignant Jataka Tale helpful with the teaching of the first sermon at the Deer Park in Sarnath. Rare and impressive Art Deco ceramic vase by Edouard Cazaux (France, 1889, 1974), in a classic Cazaux baluster form decorated with abstracted foliate designs in his hallmark teal and silver crackle glazes over a white crackle enamel. Almost 13" high, approximately 10" across. Remnants of the classic Cazaux signature on the bottom (partially worn off). Circa 1930.
