Chinese well carved celadon stone ruyi scepter; with Chinese characters design in relief, probably from early to mid 20th century. Size; length of scepter is 14 inches with no condition concerns, this item was advertised as jade but it is most likely hardstone.
A small metal box which contains an ink stone to grind ink sticks for writing. The box has been cast in brass and has a copper bottom. The ink stone is secured in the lid with a spring frame. The top of the box shows an engraved landscape design with a scholar figure and a hut. By all appearances the box has not been used as it does not show ink stains, and it still has a new looking, temporary, six sided factory mark inside. The cherubs are standing on gilded balls. They are well modeled with fine detail with a strong art deco influence. Each one is playing a musical instrument. They are a jolly little trio.

This is a fantastic Bakelite walking stick that features a polo player atop his horse. The Bakelite is green and yellow and has great striations. The collar and ferrule are both metal and the shaft is hardwood. Circa 1935 this great stick measures 34" x 1 3/4" x 1 3/4". The handle by itself is 1 1/4" x 1 3/4" x 1 3/4". The collar is 1/4" and the ferrule is 1". A great stick!

This vintage stoneware pottery 6 gallon ice water dispenser (water cooler) was made by Roseville Pottery Company circa 1900 or before.
The cooler measures 17 1/2" including the lid. The outside diameter is 12". This crock, stoneware ice water cooler weighs in at a hefty 41 pounds.
The blue paint is still very vibrant. The gasket around the spigot should be replaced because it has some dry rot. Overall condition is excellent except for one 2 1/4" exterior craze line near the top.

Vintage Chinese ink and color on paper painting by Zhang Kuan (1921-2009) of two ducks swimming among cherry blossoms. Signed in black ink at the upper left and with three red artist's seals. Zhang Kuan was an active painter for over 50 years. By the 1960s, he began to specialize in bird and flower paintings.
