A Reed & Barton Paul Revere Style Sterling Silver Footed Bowl. Dimensions are 6.5" across x 3.5" high; weight is 9.1 Troy ounces. Excellent condition. Circa 1940's.

A very uncommon graduated sterling silver handled jigger by one of Mexico’s most important Art Deco and modernist silversmiths, Juvento Lopez Reyes. He opened his studio, Plateria del Recreo in 1935, making most streamlined hollowware items in the Art Deco and modernist taste. The base is fully stamped with mark used by Reyes in the 1930s and 40s. The stepped sides of the jigger mark off .5, 1, 1.5 and 2-oz levels.

A sterling silver corkscrew by International Silver in one of the company’s 1930s Art Deco designs. Clearly patterned after the popular Scandinavian designs of the period, this design is very similar to “Royal Danish”, “Sonja” and “Norse”. The handle is marked with International’s older hallmark and the pattern number “NX14”.

Origin: America, ca. 1940. Condition: excellent, no dings, sharp details. Size: handle width, 4-5/16”; length, 4-5/8”.

A handsome sterling silver rollover jigger by Cartier. The jigger's two arms rest across the top of a glass or cocktail shaker. After filling, it's simply flipped over the empty the contents without making a mess. The bottom is marked "Cartier Sterling", indicating it would have been sold at Cartier's flagship New York store.

Chippendale Sterling Silver Oval Tray by Gorham, with the Date Mark for 1946. It is marked with the Gorham Trade Marks, Sterling, 117, 15.5", and Chippendale. It is 15.5" in length and 11" across, and the sides are 3/4" high. The weight is 26 ounces. No monogram and it is in mint condition.

A Rare Pair of Sterling Silver Candlesticks from George Jensen, USA, designed by Alphonse LaPaglia. Dimensions; 5" high x 4" at the base; weight, 14.6 Troy ounces. Circa; 1941-1950. Excellent condition. Jensen USA was operated by Frederik Lunning during and just after the war, when merchandise from Denmark was unavailable. He was the director of Jensen Operations in the US. LaPaglia was one of the designers working with him.

Chinese Yixing Red Ware Circular Shape Teapot

This is a nice Chinese yixing red ware teapot. It's finely shaped with red speckle clay in a circular form with a miniature spout & ear loped handle. It's inscribed & imprinted with a four character seal.

The Hmong women of Thailand would decorate their jackets with small rectangles of ornately embroidered collars. This collection of 6 such collars represents the tiny intricate stitches and range of techniques which use to be used. Collars such as these are rarely available on the market mow.

Collars range from 5.5 to 6 inches across and 3inches to 3.5 inches long.

This shoulder bag was made and used by the Hmoung women of northern Thailand. It would carry all the traditional items which would have been commonly found in a woman's purse. The bag fabric was hand loomed from the indigenous plants and then embroidered using traditional cross-stitched with geometric patterns. Beads, silver ornaments and tiny pompoms are added for decorative enhancement of the bagface...

This large carved ivory vessel with handle is a mid 20th century product. It has a dragon shaped handle and nine dragons, clouds and ocean wave motif covering its body. It is 13 ½” high, 10 1/8” wide from the widest part and 4 ½” thick from the middle part. There are two repaired crack lines along the side of the vessel. Because the crack lines are on the side, they are not obvious. There is a honorific Qian Long mark on the bottom.

A fine and large stoneware dish by Sakuma Totaro (1900~1979). Decorated with a flowering plum tree against an oatmeal coloured ground. The back is plain and glazed with a clear transparent ash glaze.

The original wood storage box (tomobako) lid is inscribed in ink "Mashiko decorative dish with plum in iron oxide", the signature of the potter with his red seal.

First son of Sakuma Fukujiro, a mingei potter in Mashiko, Totaro studied ceramics with his father...

This mid 20th century Chinese carved ivory doctor's lady is 15" long, 3" high and 2" thick. The fitted hard wood base is 16 1/8" long, 1 1/4" high and 3" wide. Her left hand is holding a flower and is resting on the side of her body. Her right hand is held behind her head. She wears loose bracelets on both wrists and “lotus” shoes on her feet. There is a dark line (the center of the tusk) running along the back of her left leg...

Chinese carved spinach jade square shaped container, hand carved on each side with writing and flowers, stands on 4 feet, carved 1/4" thick so has beautiful translucency. Size: 5 1/8" high x 3 3/4" wide

Republic period, circa 1950, carved jade miniature of a sage pinching it's ear lobe. The jade stone is shaped like a pebble. There are two medallions on the top of the shoulders of the stone. It measures 1.5" by 1.5" by .6".

Handsome hand hammered copper and brass water or beverage pitcher designed and signed circa 1940's by Taxco, Mexico artist Hector Aguilar (1905-86). Pitcher measures 7" tall, 6" from spout to handle. Superb and very rare copper bowl in the form of three bound leaves by acclaimed silversmith Alfredo Sciarrotta. Most of Sciarrotta’s work was in sterling silver, but he did make a limited line of copper and brass wares early in his career. The designer’s work is instantly recognizable from the quality of workmanship, the heaviness of the material, and of course the naturalistic shapes accented with delicately curling edges and engraved veining...

A pair of cotton tabi with sashiko and a pair of kokake. Tabi is made of hand-spun white cotton and has nice sashiko for strength. Soles are machine-woven. Kokake is also made of hand-spun cotton and dyed with vegetable indigo and has fine sashiko for also strength. Kokake has no soles and it is worn over zori (Japanese sandals) for warmth and waterproof in winter. Both are in excellent condition. The first half of the 20th century. A bag made of hand-spun cotton with shibori (tie-dye) and katazome (stencil-resist-dye) pattern which is vegetable indigo dye. It has cotton lining with kasuri pattern which is also hand-spun and vegetable indigo dye and thinly padded with cotton. Generally in good condition except for a few stains. A pair of boro tabi (socks) with sashiko, which is made of cotton and indigo dyed and has four metal straps. The lining is cotton flannel. The first half of the 20th century. W:9cm, L:21cm.

Ojiya chijimi unlined kimono which was produced in Ojiya city area in Niigata prefecture. It has uneven surface like crepe, which is improved from Echigo-jofu, which has been woven of choma (ramie) since more than 1000 years ago in the region. The first half of the 20th century.
