A Fine Pair of Arts & Crafts Bookends from California. Signed Stahler Arts. Albert Stahler (1881-1952) was active in Riverside, California and created the hand wrought Bronze doors for the Mission Inn. These bookends measure about 6 1/2" tall and 5" across. Great look and quite rare.

A vibrant Lakai embroidered textile ("ilgitsh") from northern Afghanistan, measuring 56.9 cm x 58.4 cm including fringes. Romanian couching in silk thread on a deep red cotton ground, with bordering in cross stitch. Approximate age mid 20th century. The Lakai are an Uzbek tribe of horse breeders who came to Afghanistan from the steppes after the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia to settle around the northern towns of Balkh and Kunduz.

This is a rustic brushpot a farmer in rural Hubei carved this out of a tree trunk. He spotted the branch at the right and decided not to trim it Hence this pot has a handle. Its skin is old and patinated. It is a charming pot. It dates from the 19th century.

This is an exquisite set of nine dresser pieces that are in fantastic shape. The pieces include a cuticle stick, nail buffer, mirror, brush, shoe horn, powder jar, cotton ball jar, toothbrush holder and monogrammed jar. Elaborately carved Chinese hardwood, possibly zitan, brushpot; with allover lotus leaves and lotus pods in relief, (minor wear). Size; Height of the carving is 5 inches.
This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen in 1927. The saucer has a diameter of 5 3/4 inches and the cup is 2 inches high. The porcelain is the finest quality the Western world has seen. The set has slightly scalloped edges that alternate with little points. It is hand painted with sprigs of nasturtiums and foliage. They are brightly colored and realistically painted. The rims and handle are trimmed with gold.

These fantastic, rare Morgantown wine stems feature delicate, whisper-thin blown Pineapple optic crystal clear bowls. Attached are deep amber, almost a root beer color pulled stems with clear blown feet. Each is a bit of art from the 1920s-1930s. Each sparkly piece stands 5 1/8" tall and 3 1/2" across the cut and finished rim. I have other Morgantown and elegant glassware in my inventory ... take a peek.

jar- floral motif on white with green and turquoise borders, good condition. The Kutani jar stands 6 1/4 inches high and second item's height at 7 1/2 inches.
In pristine condition, is this Japanese woodblock album displaying 6 famed prints, although these are not originals, yet they are actual wood block prints done for the 1964 Olympics in Japan. Please read the label description on book cover; the woodblocks are 44 years old with no soiling, smudge, or any imperfection whatsoever. They were adapted for stamps, but each are sized image area about 5" by 7" and each come with the original acid free protective tissue paper.

This is a really nice crystal clear Colonial, aka Knife and Fork, 7 inch Ice Lip Pitcher made by Hocking Glass from 1934 to 1938. This Pitcher is listed in the book as a 54 ounce Water Pitcher. It actually holds 58 ounces almost running over, so the 54 ounces is more realistic. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or scratches.
