A nice mid-century modern French cocktail pick set featuring a blonde wood stylized snail with a chrome shell. He's perched on a set of chrome leaves that hold the six chrome and plastic-topped cocktail picks. Cocktail pick holders ("porte-piques") were once a fixture of every French bar and café. Combining the techniques of incalmo and sommerso, this Modern design by Archimede Seguso exudes warmth. This form is documented in Leslie Pinas ITALIAN GLASS pgs. 145 & 150. Measuring 7.5"dia. x 2.25"h., the vessel is in good condition, with a few minor scratches at the base, unmarked.

Wooden trunk carved with dragons in clouds. The lid has a carving of a dragon in a round medallion. The trunk is bordered with a carving of dragons climbing through clouds. It measures 41" wide 24" deep 17.5" tall.

A 4 1/4 inch tall colorless hexagonal tumbler with applied jewels and enameling. The base of the tumbler is polished flat and bears a “Glasfabrik Karlsbad” logo and “Moser Austria.” There is slight wear to the gold on the edges of the tumbler.

This lovely stem was produced by Morgantown Glass Company during the 1940's. These are called the 'Top Hat' cocktail because of the figural stem. Morgantown made these exclusively for the Knickerbocker Hotel in Chicago, and they were never offered for sale to the general public directly. Offered here are 6 Top Hat cocktails: 2 Topaz, 2 Smoke, 1 amethyst and 1 blue. All are in perfect condition. Price is per stem.

A rare, complete set of sterling silver demitasse spoons in the "Flowers of the Months" pattern by Tiffany & Co. presented in their original fitted case. The finial of each spoon features an illustration of a different seasonal flower such as a holly, clover, iris, pansy, poppy, etc. The bowls are parcel gilt. The back of the spoons are stamped with the Tiffany hallmark used 1907-1947. These spoons were made for only a short duration and complete sets are quite difficult to find...
