(A) Reticulated jade or jadeite double sided pendant plaque open work carved hard stone with an Asian man carved on both sides.
20 grams white to light soft sage with touches of light tan yellowish russet on some edges.
Ice cold to touch, has a good gloss and a nice "clink" when clinked against an old nephrite carving.
57 X 40 X 4mm...

Very rare complete jacket back panel from the remote Miao Jiupang group from Jiahe County, Guizhou province (see last enlargement), with purple embroidered pattern between the spaces in the tin decoration. This style of decoration is unique to this group and very difficult to make, as every tiny bit of tin has to be individually cut and crimped. Recently acquired from a private Hong Kong collector, these are the first examples I have send of these I have seen in the past 10 years...

A large and beautiful pink glass bowl decorated with frosted lines and circles - the bowl was made by Schneider company of France around 1930. The large blown glass bowl (has a polished pontil) is 14 inches (35,5 cm) in diameter and is in excellent condition (there are some expected faint scratches on its bottom - see picture). It is signed, 'Schneider' on its foot. A similar bowl is listed on page 374 of 'Warman's Glass', 4th edition, 2002 (shown in last picture here for your convenience).

The glass vase itself is over 10 inches in height and 7 1/2 inches wide (handle-to-handle) and 7 inches wide at the widest part (without handle). The glass is in excellent condition - no chips, cracks or repairs (the polished pontil of the vase has a clean drilled hole). Overall, the decanter is in good condition (the decanter has been examined under black-light: there are no cracks in the decanter) - there are some chips however (the biggest one shown in the last picture).
