Afghanistan Wool grain or Saddle bag made to pillow, cushion, 12" square, all wool material, top is flat woven, geometric design in red wine color and darker camel hair color.

Very rare complete jacket back panel from the remote Miao Jiupang group from Jiahe County, Guizhou province (see last enlargement), with purple embroidered pattern between the spaces in the tin decoration. This style of decoration is unique to this group and very difficult to make, as every tiny bit of tin has to be individually cut and crimped. Recently acquired from a private Hong Kong collector, these are the first examples I have send of these I have seen in the past 10 years...

DESCRIPTION: An unusual netsuke featuring an abalone shell crafted from wavy burl wood with an ivory lobster perched on top. The lobster’s curled antennas are made of metal, and on the underside of the shell a signature is etched into the wood. Early to mid 20th century in very good condition. Offered is this beautiful copper wheel engraved plate in jade glass, made around 1930 by Steuben. The plate is about 8 1/2 inches wide and is in excellent condition. It is signed by Steuben, both in block letters and with the fleur-de-lis symbol.

Offered is this beautiful Dale Chihuly three-piece sea-form 'Persian' set (not sure if it is a stand-alone set or part of a bigger set). Polished pontils on very light glass. The biggest piece is 10 1/2 inches long. Except for a minor chip (see last picture), the set is in great condition. Unsigned (if it was part of a bigger set, perhaps, one piece of the set, the largest, was signed, as is/was typical of Chihuly).

A large and beautiful pink glass bowl decorated with frosted lines and circles - the bowl was made by Schneider company of France around 1930. The large blown glass bowl (has a polished pontil) is 14 inches (35,5 cm) in diameter and is in excellent condition (there are some expected faint scratches on its bottom - see picture). It is signed, 'Schneider' on its foot. A similar bowl is listed on page 374 of 'Warman's Glass', 4th edition, 2002 (shown in last picture here for your convenience).

A beautiful Signed French cameo glass vase, made by Legras et Cie. The vase is cameo cut in typical art nouveau decor. The signed vase has a polished pontil and is in excellent condition. The vase is 7 3/4 inches (20 cm) tall and 3 1/8 inches (8 cm) wide at the top.

Two beautiful Quezal and Durand iridescent art glass vases made around 1925. Both vases are signed on their polished pontils and both vases are in excellent condition (there is an etched, 'V' on the body of the Durand vase - it might be the first initial of Victor Durand). This is a rare and beautiful console set made by Victor Durand's Vineland Glass Company, around 1925. The set consists of a large footed bowl and a pair of matched candlesticks. Each of the pulled-feather decorated pieces has an ambergris-colored foot. The bowl is 10 1/4 inches wide at the top and 5 1/4 inches tall. Each candlestick is 5 inches wide and 3 1/4 inches tall...

Offered is this rare Orrefors 'Ariel' glass vase designed by Edvin Ohrstrom - the vase has a 'Stress Line' running through it. Via the 'Ariel' technique, Ohrstrom decorated the vase with the 'peace motif' (dove, flowers, etc). The very heavy vase is 6 1/2 inches (16,5 cm) wide and 4 1/2 inches (11,5 cm) high. Offered is this exceptional set of Murano glass 'Nerox', covered jars, made by Fratelli Toso around 1960 - the jars were designed by Ermanno Toso. Offered is this beautiful Steuben Jade glass with alabaster 'M' handles that was converted to a lamp. Overall, the lamp is about 27 inches tall. The glass vase itself is over 10 inches in height and 7 1/2 inches wide (handle-to-handle) and 7 inches wide at the widest part (without handle). The glass is in excellent condition - no chips, cracks or repairs (the polished pontil of the vase has a clean drilled hole). There is a fabrication flaw (see 5th picture), that is typical of a hand-made item....

Offered is this pair of Le Verre Francais (Schneider), French cameo glass vases, made around 1920. The vases are 7 1/4 inches (18,5 cm) and 7 inches (18 cm) tall respectively - as in most hand-made items, there is a slight variation in sizes. Both are signed with etched signatures. Except for a chip in the foot of one vase (see last picture), both vases are in good condition.

Offered is this Rene Lalique perfume atomizer made for 'Le Parisien' of France around 1925. The glass shows four female figures. It is 3 inches (7,5 cm) tall. The glass is in fine condition, part of the metal atomizer missing. The glass is marked, 'R Lalique', the metal is marked, 'Le Parisien Made in France'.

Offered is this large signed Seguso Murano glass vase. The vase is 13 3/4 inches (35 cm) tall, 7 3/4 inches (20 cm) wide and 5 inches (12,5 cm) deep. It is without any chips, cracks or repairs. The vase was used for keeping live flowers, and as such, there are some scratches and a water mark on the vase (see last picture - it should be possible to get the water mark off with a vinegar solution). The vase has the faded Seguso paper label and the etched, 'Des. L. Seguso' signature for Livio seguso...

A tall amber-colored, signed art deco era decanter, made by Moser. Overall, the decanter is in good condition (the decanter has been examined under black-light: there are no cracks in the decanter) - there are some chips however (the biggest one shown in the last picture). The tall decanter is 20 1/2 inches (52 cm) tall and 5 1/2 inches (14 cm) wide at the bottom. It is signed on its bottom (also, a similar decanter is shown on page 141 of Baldwin's book, 'Moser Artistic Glass edition two').
