This is Japanese Indigo dye Stripe and weave beautiful hitoe kimono textile from the Taisho era to the Showa era(1910-1950). The material is silk and cotton. It does not have a stain and damage. It is in a very good state.

Superbly decorated very old bear skull, with typically Dayak incised designs all over its upper part. Beautiful partly encrusted patina. Indonesia, Borneo Island, Dayak Peoples. Length: 9" (22,7 cm), height: 3 1/4" (8,2 cm). Lower jaw and and a few teeth missing --- though these factors do not impair the rarity and beauty of the piece --- otherwise very good condition. This little girl's chemise was made by Uzbek women and measures 45 cm across the shoulders, 49 cm from the top to the bottom hem. Silk ikat combined with jajim and silk thread embroidered in long and short stitch. Condition is excellent.

Offered is Dr. C.H. Fitch's Prescription Scale-- a wonderful, early, pharmacist/doctor, portable, pocket-sized, Victorian era scale! The fancy-scrolled and embellished metal case appears to be brass with nickel plating and reads, "Dr. C.H. Fitch's Prescription Scale Pat Sept 29th 1885" on the top.
The diminutive metal case with scale inside measures approximately 1.5" wide x 2.75" long x .75" deep and is in very nice, original condition. The scale's capacity is 1/2 to 20 grains...
Vase from the "Finlandia" series by Timo Sarpaneva for Iittala, Finland, 1965-69. Of tree trunk shape, the glass a very light green, watery shade.The irregular surface was created by the charred wooden moulds used for the Finlandia collection. The vase still retains its Iittala label and the polished base is signed Timo Sarpaneva 7362. Height "6/15 cm, diameter "4/ 10,2 cm. A decorative black lacquer box by the Ryukyu Lacquer Ware Company, c 1920. The inside red, the knobbed lid with a carved lacquer banana plant - flowers, fruit and leaves - in colours. Stamped company mark. Diameter "3¾/ 9,7 cm. Condition: small nick to the rim of box and lid (cf. picture).

This very well-carved lapis of a fairy (Ma Gu) is 8 ¾” high (with fitted wood base, it is 10 ¼” high), 8 ¼” wide and 2” thick. It depicts Ma Gu, the beautiful, young fairy who always brings joy to a birthday celebration. Her right hand is holding a platter containing a wine bottle, peaches, Buddha-hand citron and pomegranates. A boy and girl holding a giant peach with both hands are standing near her. A deer is at her side. The peach and deer mean good luck and longevity...
This child's dress front from Paktya province, Afghanistan measures 24 x 24.5 cm and is embroidered in fine cross stitch in silk thread, depicting eight-pointed stars and amuletic motifs. Condition is excellent. Mid 20th century.
