Mosaic pottery tazza and vase from the 1940s or 50s, by Gerbino, France. The handling and modelling of clays in various colors necessary for the creation of this kind of art objects was a complicated procedure, mastered only by Jean Gerbino and his family in Vallauris, the French studio pottery center of the period. Impressed marks Gerbino and Vallauris. Height of tazza "3 ½ / 9 cm and of the vase "5 ½ / 14 cm, diameter of tazza "6/ 15 cm. Condition: fine.

Striking, tall, double sommerso vase form by Fratelli Toso. Interior gather of soft gold toned transparent glass emerges in sommerso from a heavy green lip, cased in crystal. The form is blown into a rib mold with green canne applied at the high points of the ribs. This vase is a fine example of mid-century innovation of traditional techniques. Measuring 6.75" (top dimension) x 12" tall, the vase is in good condition, bears the J.I. CO. import label, unmarked.

Here is a lovely and rare red Argenta fruit platter designed by Wilhelm Kage for Gustavsberg, Sweden. It measures 7 1/2" in diameter. On the underside is stamped in gold the old Gustavsberg anchor insignia, Argenta, the model number 1003 I. The original label is partially intact (see photo). All silver intact.

This pretty pink Double Rib and Panel 6 inch diameter Handled Basket was made by Heisey Glass. This Basket measures 8 1/2 inches high. It is signed the the H in Diamond on the bottom and is in very good condition with no cracks, scratches or cloudiness. There is one pin head size flea bite on the inner rim at the top of the basket. An elegant set of six gilt sterling silver mint julep spoons, the bowls decorated in the form of a pair of overlapping mint leaves. The stems are hollow, so they can be used as sippers, too. The spoons can also be used for iced tea. The gilding is a beautiful, rich shade of gold. The spoons are marked “Tiffany & Co. Sterling”.

Presented is this beautiful green-to-amber Murano glass large bowl with turned ends and gold flecks, made most likely by Barovier & Toso.. The heavy glass bowl is 14 1/4 inches (36 cm) long, 9 3/4 inches (25 cm) wide and 4 1/4 inches (11 cm) tall. It is without chips, cracks or repairs. Polished pontil.

Cambridge Pistatio Sugar is in mint condition. Only have the sugar, no creamer. Color is pistatio, otherwise, known as vaseline glass, or, by our modern young collectors, uranium glass. It glows under a black light. It measures about 2" high and 4" across. It does have the triangles "C" logo on the bottom.

These salad servers comprise a fork and spoon with rosewood handles and hand-wrought sterling silver tines and bowl. Each is decorated with three simple applied beads at the collar that wraps around the handles. The backs bear the mark of Taxco silversmith Bernice Goodspeed as well as sterling marks. Both are securely attached to the handles, although the spoon is a bit loose. The wood is in very nice shape, and the silver shows much oxidation but little wear...

This particular type of glass was quite limited because of WW11 when production was withdrawn and then reintroduce in 1953.

Really Unusual Murano ORANGE Sommerso and GOLD FLECKS Art Glass WOMAN Candlestick Sculpture!!! Her face is incredibly detailed. She is carrying a large Vase on her head, and has a Gold Leaf Scarf and Belt, with her breasts Exposed! The piece has an Orange Core, and triangle Skirt that lets her stand up. The sophisticated designer arrangement of murrine in this paperweight is notable. The leaf murrine can be found in other Toso paperweights. The green center of the flower murrine is nicely tied in to the leaf motif. The murrine are cased in crystal and this lattice type layer of murrine gives the weight a nice airy quality. Measuring 3.75 dia. x 2.75"h., the paperweight is in excellent condition, unmarked.
