It was made to look like glass found in Catalonia Spain at the archaeological sites, and had bubbles and raised rings blown into the glass. This is the 1106 creamer in emerald green. This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen in the 1930s. It has first quality crossed swords under glaze. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/4 inches and is 1 inch deep. The cup is 2 inches tall with a diameter of 2 1/2 inches. A beautiful bird sits on a flowering branch while in insect flutters by. The style is Japanese Kakiemon, done in shades of blue, green. and violet. The cup is sparsely decorated with a flower sprig here and a bug, in a minimalist manner...

Chinese Complete set of Mahjong Set, Bamboo back bone front with colorful characters, total 144 pieces of tiles plus 4 round pieces of east, west, north and south and 4 square dices, many counting sticks. To open the front of the box, push holes in the back side toward forward, all five(5) trays will open one by one. Box size(6 1/4" high, 9" wide, 5 3/4" deep), and the condition is good.

Moderntone was produced by Hazel Atlas Glass from 1934 - 42. Offered here is the custard cup in amethyst. (Hazel Atlas called this color 'burgundy' when it was originally made, but it's a rich amethyst color.) A fine quality water pot for use on the scholars desk. The porcelain is very white and translucent. The fine blue art work shows two five toed dragons chasing the flaming pearl. There is a six character Guangxu Dynasty mark on the base, but it is not the mark used by the Royal Kiln. As the pot is not Imperial Ware we believe it was made during the Republic Period in Guangxu Style...

This Miao silver drinking horn would have used for special occasions i.e. prospective in-laws visiting etc. The horn is small 6.5 inches from tip to far rim. The reposse design of dragon and fish is mirrored on each side of the horn.

Old oxcart for Hina Matsuri, the Japanese girl's festival. Decorated in makie on lacquered wood, this style of the carriage was used by the aristocrats during the Heian period (I794-1185). The 20th century Japanese scroll painting by the artist, Miyadai Tamae (1945-?). Miyadai Tamae is a Japanese painter who specializes in flower-and-bird paintings characterized by his effective use of ink. His paintings are popular for their subdued and tasteful colors. Ink and color on Silk, hanging scroll. This painting represents a cricket happily living in the nature. Signed “Tamae”, with one signature seal of the artist. Only one scroll head survived, otherwise excellent condition.
