Lacquer over wood picnic set in an open carrier; consisting on the top tier of a small rectangular box, presumably for utensils, and five small trays. Below them is a covered three tier jubako box. The black lacquer is incised in places and otherwise decorated with gilt and silver blossom sprays. A small copper/brass handle is on the top. Many of the edges are gilt. STICKER BOARD BY A JAPANESE BOY

A fragment of old massive industrial wooden board stenciled as 'Explosive' on the opposite side, randomly stuck many old school stickers of 'Ultraman' and 'Kamen Rider' (and their monster enemies) as the two biggest children's superhero in Japanese tokusatsu TV show in 1970s. Really scarce tangible memory and story hardly seen today. 65 x 37 x 1.5 cm (25.59 x 14.56 x 0.59in)...

This is a rare antique porcelain figurine glazed all over in white depicting a courtship couple sitting on a large rock with a young sheep at their feet. This figurine was made by the Ernst Bohne Sohne Rudolstadt Volkstedt plant in Germany in the mid to late 19th century. At the back of the figurine near the base is a blue 5 prong crown with the letter "N" written in under-glaze blue...

Chinese Ming Dynasty lacquered bronze amphora type vase with Dragon Headed handles, of small scale this wonderful little vase was finely cast down to the detail of the dragon faces on the handles, a geometric pattern above the foot. JJapan Haku Maki Green Ox & Knife This is a beautiful rare green Maki print. It was done in 1971 the cream color calligraphy is as if added after the dark green ‘”flintstone” was prepared. The calligraphy is a light green there is a wonderful white stroke at the right It is one of the many ways Maki signed off on a print. It is balanced off by a soft yellow stroke at the left poem 71 - 61

This Morgantown Adonis tumbler has a festive Meadow Green foot. The satin glass medallion shows a stylized face of Adonis from mythical lore. Surrounding the medallion is a complicated acid etch shield that makes this pattern quite collectible. It stands 4 5/8" tall and is in excellent, unused condition. Insurance and confirmation is included in the price.

This Shino ware sake cup was made about 50 years ago in the well-known Suigetsu Gama kiln which was built by one of the greatest Japanese potters of all times, Toyozo Arakawa (1894-1985). He was designated as Living National Treasure by Japanese Government in 1955 and well-known for reviving Shino glazes of Momoyama and Early Edo periods. The signature of his kiln is stamped at the bottom of the cup. The original wooden box with the signature of his kiln name is also included. Size Dia...

This six-sided bangle is a truly rare Georg Jensen piece and undoubtedly has gone out of production. It was bought in 1968 and has not been worn very much. This is a design done more than 50 years ago and a long-time GJ dealer in New York says he cannot remember ever having seen the piece. Inside one of the six sides of the bangle is the Georg Jensen mark in a circle of dots, 925S Denmark, and the number 177. The internal diameter is 7cm (2.75in).

Being offered are a rare circa 1956 pair of sterling silver and wood candlesticks by William Spratling, of Taxco, Mexico. Pair of handcrafted candlesticks with a modernistic, geometric inverted silver & carved wood conical form. Dimensions: 4 inches tall by 3 inches diameter. Marked as illustrated in photo. In excellent condition. Another example of Spratling’s brilliant design and construction.

This silver overlay vase was produced in Germany by Friedrich Spar & Company around 1930. Except for a number 21 in red it is not signed but we are certain of its origin. The vase measures 7 inches in diameter. The art deco design is Asian inspired with pink flowers and branches spreading around the porcelain. The ground color is medium blue which contrasts so beautifully with the pink blossoms. The silver work is elaborate. Condition: Excellent
