Lovely pair of sterling silver short candlesticks, the sockets with an engraved design and flaring outline suggestive of a tulip blossom. The design has a nice Art Deco feel and is really much more interesting than the typical short candlesticks of this type. The bottoms are marked “Sterling” but have no maker’s mark.

Early Chinese Han style carved stone Duck figure, the duck possibly Han period is carved from a soft stone and and came from a collector of ancient jade. No damage and very well carved. Superb classically-shaped vase with scavo texture and subtle iridescence. The scavo vessel is 11.5" tall and is in excellent condition, unmarked.

This large, brilliant, cut glass pitcher, measures 11" tall x 5 1/4" diameter on the bottom. I am not an expert on cut glass, but I know a good piece when I see it, and this is one of them. Although I cannot find a signature, I'm sure the pattern will be identifiable to an expert who knows their patterns. There are a couple of very minor flakes at the top, otherwise in perfect condition.

Very nice set of eight sterling silver cocktail picks with rooster finials brightly decorated in translucent basse-taille enamels. This bare foot fisherman is 8” high (9“ high with base), 2 ¼” wide and 1 1/8” in depth. It is a middle 20th century product. The long bearded fisherman wears an old style coat and pants. His right hand is holding a fish on a string; his left hand is holding a long fishing pole. It is in excellent condition.

Antique Persian Baluch rug, 100% hand woven wool in rust brown, light red, and indigo hues, with repeating geometric motifs throughout. These rugs are hand-knotted by the nomads of Baluch. Baluch or Baluchistan is the area between the borders of Iran, Pakistan, and Afghanistan-- this is why Baluch rugs are said to be a mixture of three different regions.

Consolidated Glass Company produced the Catalonian line in 1927. It was made to look like glass found in Catalonia Spain at the archaeological sites, and had bubbles and raised rings blown into the glass. This is the 6 1/2 inch hat shaped vase in emerald green. This child's dress front from Paktya province, Afghanistan measures 24 x 24.5 cm and is embroidered in fine cross stitch in silk thread, depicting eight-pointed stars and amuletic motifs. Condition is excellent. Mid 20th century.

A very rare pair of hand guards or constructed from a course woven fibre each incorporating three rows of shark's teeth secured with a fine hand made string or cord. These 'gloves' were made on the Gilbert Islands (now Kiribati) probably during the first half of the 20th Century. Condition: excellent - the fibre is frayed in places but apparently no damages or losses...

Cotton and silk, mixed weave haori with shibori asanoha (hemp leaf) pattern which is dyed with the root of murasaki or murasaki-sou (lithospermum), one kind of grass. It is called "shikon-zome". Murasaki was grown since Asuka period (very late 6th to early 8th century) and purple was thought as the noble color...
