Japanese choba from Sakata area, Japan. Made entirely of Keyaki wood (elm) with burl wood. Heavy iron hardware, including elaborately cut lock plates with square shaped handles, the side has warabite shaped handles. The pulls for opening the sliding panels are inlaid with mother of pearl and edge with carved persimmon. Interior has one shelf. Well crafted joinery and tenons original lacquered finish in excellent condition...

The elegant vintage bracelet, approximately 2¼ inches (57.15 mm) in inner diameter and 83 grams in weight, is artistically designed and skillfully carved. Its strong translucent jadeite material shows very beautiful apple green-white hues. Very rare and in an excellent condition.

Chinese antique doucai porcelain cup, stand and lid. The interior of the bowl and the lid left plain. The base of the bowl and the stand contains a six character Yongzheng mark in underglaze blue surrounded by a double circle, also in underglaze blue.

This is a really pretty Fire King Royal Ruby Red 14 Piece Punch Bowl Set, in the original box, made by Anchor Hocking Glass into the 1960s. This sets consists of a 10 inch diameter X 5 inch high 3.75 quart punch bowl, a punch bowl base and twelve 3 3/8 inch diameter 6 ounce cups. All punch set items appear to be in excellent, unused condition with no chips, cracks or scratches. The original box does show wear and has damage at the top with two flaps missing...

Rare semi antique supplementary warp silk embroidery on handspun indigo cotton, blanket from the diverse Tai ethnic group Vietnam/Laos. I collected this in Chiang Mai around 12 years ago and would date it around 40 to 80 years old. Nowadays you just can’t find this sort of textile anymore. Some embroidery losses and a hole along the edge (noted in enlargements) but overall in very good condition. Dimensions: 84cm/33in x 145cm/57in.

Rather unusual Japanese porcelain obidome / netsuke in a shape of a mask of a female theatrical character Waka-Onna. Obidome is worn on an obi cord that holds the obi sash together, and is the only type of jewelry worn by Japanese women on formal occasions. This lovely cap made by Uzbek women residing in northern Afghanistan measures 21 cm in diameter and 59.5 in circumference. Silk thread in satin stitch on a cotton muslin ground with silk and cotton ikat strips on the dome. Condition is excellent. Estimated age: mid 20th century.

Duncan and Miller Covered Butter in the Tear Drop pattern. Cover is made by Rogers (silvered). Produced from the 1930's until 1955. In excellent condition.

Japanese limited edition cement mortar block print pencil-titled in kanji "Poem 68-2" (indicating production in 1968) by Maki Haku (1924-2000). Pencil-signed and numbered 26/50 in the lower margin. The artist's square red seal is at the lower right corner of the image. This print features the highly embossed ideographs characteristic of Maki's work. The designs were created by inscribing on wet cement. Paper size: 17" x 17 1/4" (image size: just under 16" x 16"). Very good overall condition.

Made and used by the tribal indigenous Aborigine people of Australia, this old Mulga wood boomerang was smoothed using a stone adz...no sandpaper in the outback when this was made... the traditional decorative surface markings were made by pressing a hot poker and wire onto the wood surface forming the running kangaroo and border lines...

Chinese enameled porcelain bowl, exterior is decorated in the mille fleur pattern on a gilt ground with three cartouche exhibiting dragons, from Republic Period, bears Chinese seal mark to the base. Size; Diameter of bow is 7 1/4 inches with height of 3 1/8 inches, in Excellent condition with no imperfections.

One of the rarest colors ever on an American Standard Stratocaster "Razz Berry", which made its only appearance in the Oct 1 88 price list, and was dropped by the time the '89 price list was printed. Also noteworthy, this finish wasn't available on the American Standard Strat, only the "Plus" model, but was fairly common on the HM Strat from this era. The Plus model first appeared in 1987, within a year of the first American Standards, the earliest was Nov '86...

A Chinese hanging scroll portraying a group of lotuses set in a marsh-like environment with a butterfly flying over the flowers. The work contains a seal and signature of the noted artist, Qi Baishi (1864-1957). Qi Baishi became famous through his independent studies in Chinese painting and his energetic brush strokes and styles evolved Chinese art in the 20th century. A large heavy Korean brass bowl or tray that was used to carry smaller bowls of rice and vegetables to men working in the fields. The bowl was wrought to shape, and it shows the evidence of being hand pounded. The Bowl measures about 3 1/2" high x 13 1/2" in diameter, weighs about 3 1/2 pounds, and dates to the early 20th Century. The condition is very good with only minor surface tarnish and corrosion. It was the custom in Korea to polish brass, and such a bowl would shine up beautifully...

A vintage Austrian silver stopper for a wine bottle or decanter, the finial constructed from a coin known as the “Maria Theresa Thaler”. These coins were first minted during the reign of the Empress Maria Theresa, mother of Marie Antoinette. The front depicts Maria Theresa and the back features the imperial Hapsburg double eagle arms...

Bag made of hand spun and vegetable indigo dye cotton, with beautiful sashiko. The lining cloth is cotton which looks hand spun and has katazome (stencil-resist dye) stripes. The metal clasp works well, which is antique handmade with boat motif. Generally in good condition but has some indigo faded spots and wear in one of the corners in the bottom. The first half of the 20th century. W:29cm, L:20cm, H:3.5cm
