This tea set was brought back by American missionary who was in China 1920-1948...She was repatriated to the US immediately after WW2 and returned by way of Japan. This is a really pretty 11 1/2 inch X 9 inch Oval Platter made by Crooksville China. The Platter has a Wild Roses decoration on it with platinum trim. A beautiful Murano glass candlestick, made by Barovier & Toso, around 1950, in their gold-flecked 'Corodonato d'Oro' decor. The candlestick is 5 1/2 inches (14 cm) tall and 4 5/8 inches (11,7 cm) wide. It is without chips, cracks or repairs (there is some wax-drippings and black soot build-up, which are to be expected in a candlestick - please see pictures).

Very old mask from East Nepal, beautiful black patina of soot. Goat skin nailed to the forehead and chin, good age at least mid-20th century. Very hard wood, excellent condition, H 26 cm, width 18 cm, can be delivered on a metal base.

Six(6) Clear Crystal Tall Water Glasses, Vintage 1940's, 8" high, 3" diameter-top rim, Clear cut and etched design of leafy branches, the condition is good.

19th century netsuke of a sitting boy holding a turtle with one hand, and trying to break its shell with a stone that he holds in the other. Unusual subject, strong early carving, wonderful wear consistent with age, beautiful patina with yellowing on the back, where netsuke was touching silk of the kimono. Nice textile patterns, Height 1.41 inches.

Antique hanging scroll. A dragon dressed in kimono and apron stands on hind legs, and holds up high a jewel, as if offering to an invisible celestial divine creature. Above them is a swirl.

Measuring 29.2 x 33.6 cm, this textile is from central Afghanistan, home of the minority Hazara people who are Shi'ite Muslims, inhabiting at least three or four provinces (Jaghori, Bamiyan, Orugzan, Wardak). The embroidery on this textile is exclusively silk herringbone stitch on an ivory cotton linen ground. The textile is in good condition overall with some mild staining. Wood, with fine dark glossy patina. A piece of old textile of red color is meant to represent a skirt. Africa, D.R. Congo, Luba ethnic group. Height: 9 3/8" (23,7 cm). The figurine is mounted on a custom metal stand. Remnants of old insect infestation, (no danger), otherwise very good condition.

This is a vintage textile from Paktya province. It measures 28 x 29.5 cm and is estimated to date between early to mid 20th century. A hand-emboidered purse from Pakistan, measuring 19 cm x 21 cm. The embroidery technique is a combination of ladder stitch and satin stitch in silk on a black cotton ground.
