This Northwood grape and cable 9" ruffled bowl can be identified as a varian because of the tendrils that sneak into the otherwise plain center. The shape of the grape bunces is quite different. It has a collar base and basketweave exterior.

This Nippon biscuit jar / cookie jar is circa 1890-1921. The green mark #91 is under glaze.

A very large and impressive plaque for a bracelet of belt, with loops on the back and set with a huge torquise stone within a frame of 23 smaller torquise stones. Lovely silver work, c. mid 20th. century USA, Navaho Tribe artist. No stamps but testet as 925 sterling silver.

Royal Copenhagen Porcelain Coffee Pot, made in "Denmark", 9 1/2" high, 6" wide with handle, hand painted vivid and crispy floral design with highlight with gold, the porcelain body is fluted vertical low relief lines on the surface. Underneath the cover is also marked with "Royal Copenhagen" mark as well as on the bottom of the pot. The condition is good, no damage or restoration.
A Chinese opaque pink glass snuff bottle with red stone stopper. Of circular form, one side decorated in shallow relief with a design of a bird perched on a rock beside waves whilst on the other side is a scene of the sun setting beside waves below a branch of peaches and a single bat. Unmarked.

Mimura Kazuhiro(b.1931) is a nerikomi (multi-colored marbled ware) specialist who has had a very successful career exhibiting throughout Japan and at juried exhibitions as well, especially at the prestigious yearly Japan Traditional Arts and Crafts Exhibition. This museum quality work dates to the late 70`s and is remarkable for the nerikomi technique on such a large form; in perfect condition at 45.7cm x 45.7cm x 7 cm. Stamped on bottom. Cotton cloth which used to be obi (sash) for a casual kimono. It has hand-drawn tsutsugaki design. It was "Nagoya obi" which was invented in early 20th century to make it easier to tie in the traditional style. A Dorflinger sweet pea vase decorated in the Kalana Pansy pattern. The vase is 3 5/8 inches tall and 6 inches diameter at the top. Polished pontil and no imperfections.
A large and beautiful pink glass bowl decorated with frosted lines and circles - the bowl was made by Schneider company of France around 1930. The large blown glass bowl (has a polished pontil) is 14 inches (35,5 cm) in diameter and is in excellent condition (there are some expected faint scratches on its bottom - see picture). It is signed, 'Schneider' on its foot. A similar bowl is listed on page 374 of 'Warman's Glass', 4th edition, 2002 (shown in last picture here for your convenience).
These two wine stems are a collaboration between two companies: Cambridge Glass made the amethyst art deco flared wine bowl, while Farber Bros. made the cut-out chrome basket, the shapely stem and the broad bell foot. They are marked Farber Bros. on the bottom of each stem. These charming glasses stand 5 3/4" tall and are in excellent condition. I have other Cambridge and elegant glassware in my inventory... take a peek. Insurance and confirmation are included in the price.

Chinese 20th century hanging scroll painting of a landscape. A painted copy of a work by the famous artist Fang Cong Yi. The scroll has 18 seals. The landscape is dramatic and tranquil beginning in the mountains, descending through the ravines with a waterfall ending in a lake, where a monk crosses a bridge. It measures 25" wide 113" long overall, the image 18" by 69".
A classic figural sterling silver thimble jigger by Thomae & Co. The rim is engraved "Only A Thimble Full." The interior retains some of its original gilding. Several companies made variations of this jigger, but those by Thomae are among the best due to their superior weight and workmanship.

Original circa 1930's Chocolat Vinay box, circular, 9 3/4" diameter, 2 1/8" in height, the outer surfaces covered in lithographed patterns featuring what appear to be white roses against a Deco style patterned background. Enamel on copper pendant with chain, silver foliated and enamelled in olive green with a nebulosa shape, typical of the years around 1960. Unsigned, but undoubtedly by Jytte Borg, Stockholm, who designed and produced the best enamel costume jewelry in Sweden of the 1950’s and 60’s. Height "2/ 5.5 cm, the length of the copper chain is "27 ½ / 70 cm. Condition: fine.

Iroquois "false face" mask made of a very dense, heavy wood, with tin metal for the eyes, and horse hair additions, attached via strips of old cotton textile, the measurements of the piece 11" by 7" by 4", with weight a little over 1 1/2 pounds. Some of the very old examples are in museums and fine pieces sell at auctions of Native American art and artifacts. The age of this piece is somewhat difficult to determine, but it is not new. It may date early to mid 20th century.
