A vintage mid century modernist salt spoon by William Spratling in sterling silver and ebony. From Spratling's 3rd design period.
The ebony wood and sterling salt spoon measures 3 1/4" long. Marked with the conjoined 'WS' and an eagle mark that is partially struck. It is in fine condition with some tarnish and a very minor ding.

This really pretty pair of ice blue Paneled Grape 4 1/2 inch high Salt and Pepper Shakers were made by Westmoreland Glass. The shakers have the original chrome lids on. Moondrops was produced by New Martinsville Company from 1932 to 1940. Offered here is the 4 3/4 inch footed tumbler in perfect condition. This size is listed as the 'table tumbler' and holds 8-9 oz depending on how you fill it. The glass is a rich, ruby red color - more lovely in person. I have 12 available, price is per tumbler. Important and rather rare ancient statue from West Nepal (Karnali River districts but possibly Jumla region). The statue shows a protector standing with his hands folded in the ritual gesture of Namaste. Note the treatment of the arms showing a rounded rather than angular elbow joint. The eye openings are diamond-shaped. Semi-hard wood with black patina with residual plaster of offerings and mineral plasters which have either been cleaned or lost over time...
The Newport or Hairpin pattern was made by Hazel Atlas during the 1930's. The color is amethyst, though Hazel Atlas called it 'Burgundy' in the original ads. Offered is this beautiful, nude Murano glass sculpture of Aphrodite, made by Dino Rosin. The sculpture is 12 1/2 inches (32 cm) tall and is in excellent condition. Signed. The base glass looks black, but also looks dark-amethyst in color under certain lighting condition (see last picture). Very heavy glass.

A woven wool sash from Tibet, circa mid to late 20th century. Measuring 15.3 x 300 cm including the fringes, it is in overall good condition, but with some fraying. These sashes are used by Tibetans to tie their traditional attire (chuba for women, lokpa for men) and also to secure knives, bundles etc. Enlargement #6 shows the use of these sashes in traditional Tibetan nomadic culture (© 1995 East of Lo Manthang by Peter Matthiessen and Thomas Laird).
A delightful mid-century modern jigger by Reed & Barton. The figurine of the town drunk has a 1920’s feel, but the interior green enamel identifies the jigger as part of Reed & Barton’s “Color-Clad” line designed by John Prip and introduced in 1961. The bottom is marked “Reed & Barton 2oz” and has the pattern number “260.”

A beautiful Antique Turkish Prayer Rug Circa 1890 wool measuring 52”x48”
This six-sided bangle is a truly rare Georg Jensen piece and undoubtedly has gone out of production. It was bought in 1968 and has not been worn very much. This is a design done more than 50 years ago and a long-time GJ dealer in New York says he cannot remember ever having seen the piece. Inside one of the six sides of the bangle is the Georg Jensen mark in a circle of dots, 925S Denmark, and the number 177. The internal diameter is 7cm (2.75in).
Chippendale Sterling Silver Oval Tray by Gorham, with the Date Mark for 1946. It is marked with the Gorham Trade Marks, Sterling, 117, 15.5", and Chippendale. It is 15.5" in length and 11" across, and the sides are 3/4" high. The weight is 26 ounces. No monogram and it is in mint condition.

This is a beautiful cloisonne vase. It is not signed but it appears to be a vintage Hayashi Kodenji piece. The colors are brilliant and the enamel has a high gloss. Besides the top and bottom scroll work there are 7 butterflies that adorn this vase. This stout vase stands 7 1/4 inches tall and is 6 inches wide. The rims are silver and condition is excellent.

Japanese cigarette case, damascened with silver and gold on steel, c 1930's. Decoration in Komai style of a temple gate, pagodas and Mt Fuji. The back with a Fukui mark under butterfly and 24K. In addition two marks resembling stylized birds’ wings on a sgraffito ground. Width "3 ¾ / 9,2 cm, height "3 ¼ / 8,2 cm. Condition: some wear to the black surface, otherwise fine (cf pics).

Kokeshi, wooden folk toy of NE Japan. Height: 8.25". This is an example of "Kijiyama-kei" tradition of Akita Prefecture. The artisan was Abe Heishirou. French Ormolu Rococo style Display Vitrine, glass shelves and ornate reticulated Ormolu metal frame, supported by curved four(4) legs, 15" high to the top of crown, 10" high for shelving display area, 13 1/4" wide-maximum, 4 3/4" deep, for display of small treasures on the table top. Gold Ormolu metal work is in very good condition, and hinges and knob are all original including glass sides, top and shelves and mirror bottom. No damage or restoration.
Pair of Korean black lacquer over brass vases with mother-of-pearl inlay. The brass is re-purposed from unused artillery shells and the vases are heavier than one would expect. One of the rim looks a little irregular, but the were purchased in Japan, as is, in the first half of the 20th Century. They measure about 7 inches high.
Measuring 33 x 39 cm, this vintage Hazara child's vest from Afghanistan is from the 1960s. The embroidery is extremely fine straight stitch and long and short stitch in wool thread on a light brown linen ground, depicting geometric motifs in vibrant color. Condition: Excellent, no stains, no holes, no odors. The Hazara are the third largest ethnic group of Afghanistan...

This is a very colorful Japanese Plique-a-Jour cloisonne vase. The colors used are a little different than most and contrast beautifully.(See images) Condition is very good. But when held up to bright light a line can be seen. It does not show in normal lighting. The vase is even a little different size. It stands 3 5/8 inches tall.
George V sterling silver box. Made by Richard Comyns in London in 1934. Rectangular with straight sides and curved corners. Cover hinged with gently curved top and tapering tab. On cover top is engraved the coat of arms of the Honourable Artillery Company, which is the oldest regiment in the British army. Cedar-lined and partitioned interior; underside leather lined. Fully marked. Very good condition.

Very RARE early 1930’s Japanese dark brown textured silk jacket with a hand painted lining commemorating the flight of the Clasina Madge flown by American pilot, Cecil Allen, in a race from Japan to the United States.
