A Chinese couplet scroll in calligraphy excerpting from a work composed by the noted literati scholar, Su Dongpo from the Song Dynasty. Work contains the signature and seal of Zheng Xiaoxu (1860-1938).The two line couplet expresses how as there are different ways to point out the errors in an embroidered robe, or a crane hesitating to fly has yet to mature into an immortal. Dating around the 1920s is this 8-sided pierced metal opium lamp. Each of the eight panels has glass inserts to protect the flame. A pair of doors opens in the front to light the flame and in some cases to heat the opium tar housed in a damper bowl at the end of an opium pipe. This lamp is in original condition with a removable brass burner. All the cut-outs are intact. I have not identified the metal, but there is a faint coating of rust on the lamp...

This is a beautiful ladle measuring 12 3/4" in length. The bowl is in the shape of a large shell, and there is a
lion engraved on the handle. There are four marks on the back of the handle which I tried to photograph. The first long one I can't make out, the second is the head of a lion with a crown on his head, the third is a full lion, and the last has initials which I believe to be HB. I believe the ladle to be Georgian.

This rare, modernist bowl is quite exquisite. It is made by Aage Wiemar, Denmark. It has an approximate diameter of 3" and stands about 7/8". The bottom of the bowl is marked PURE SILVER AAGE WEIMAR DENMARK and has 4 other maker's marks/hallmarks below the above. The third mark is 9584. The bottom also has marks that are made by hand. The bowl/dish weighs just over 4 ounces.

A sterling silver corkscrew by International Silver in one of the company’s 1930s Art Deco designs. Clearly patterned after the popular Scandinavian designs of the period, this design is very similar to “Royal Danish”, “Sonja” and “Norse”. An elegant sterling silver rollover jigger in Tiffany & Co.’s highly desirable 1961 “Bamboo” pattern. The jigger is designed so the stems on either side of the bowl rest on the rim of cocktail shaker or glass. Once filled, the jigger can simply be tipped sideways, allowing the liquid to drop into the vessel without spills. The handle is marked “Tiffany & Co. Sterling”.

This severe geometric style is typical of Art Deco wares produced by Tiffany. The jigger is fully hallmarked by Tiffany and is stamped with the date mark used 1907-47.
