18 Pieces of Japanese Earthenware Chopstick and Spoon rest in 3 signed Wooden Boxes, 5 each in one box, and 3 are not in box, total 18 pieces, with Satsuma style hand painted floral design in crackle glaze, 1940's, 2" to 2 1/4" long. The condition is good.

Very fine Japanese lacquer cocktail shaker and matching glasses handpainted with a scene of a teahouse at the edge of a lake amidst a bamboo grove with mountains in the background. The interiors are decorated in a stunning and unusual metallic copper finish.

Origin: Japan, circa 1930. Condition: virtually mint. Size: shaker, 11"; glasses 4-7/8".

Rookwood Vase mold number 2111 dated 1926. Height: 6 1/8 inches. The color is Turquoise blue. The horizontal lines visible in one of the views are crazing lines in the glaze. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. Fully marked with Rookwood Flame mark, XXVI, and 2111 with the finishers mark of Albersman. Vase shape designed by Lorinda Epply.

Japanese woven Bamboo Ikebana Flower Basket with thin Bamboo insert, Ca. 1930, 16" high include handle, 3" square-bottom, 2 3/8" round-top rim, 6 1/4" high for handle, 10" high for basket only. Bamboo insert is cracked, basket is in good condition, no damages.

Sophisticated faceted vessel's purity of form and color suggest Flavio Poli. I have seen similar types of pieces attributed to Poli. The smoke and golden interior colors are soft and appear to float. This piece is in good condition and is the essence of good modern minimalist design. Measuring 1.5"x1.5"x5"h, the form retains a worn but readable import label.

A fine vintage Art Deco style 6-3/4" step sided .800 silver wine slide or coaster. This item was used to slide bottles of wine along the table (most had wood bottoms with felt or fabric). A Fukagawa Seiji 9-3/4" tree peony Japan porcelain vase from the 1900-20 era. This large and wonderful high-quality Japanese porcelain vase has orange and blue tree peony flowers with yellow and white applied jewelling and gold highlights. It is in a myriad of blue colours with subtle gradations and shading and it has a gold rim and gold leaf veins. It has the Mt. Fuji mark used from 1900-20 and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, losses, damage or repairs...

Offered is this large-sized (height: 8 inches & width: 3"), iridescent glass shade with applied threads, made by Durand/Vineland Glass Company, around 1925. Unsigned, as expected - it is in a definite Durand shape (please refer to page 146 of Meschi's book - shown in last picture here for your convenience). Good condition (a few threads missing, as might be expected).

Heisey Glass Company made Colonial from 1915-33. There are no chips or cracks in the glass. Thanks for looking.

Agate is a kind of mineral in chalcedony class and is often mixed with grain belt of the block Opal and cryptocrystalline quartz, Mohs hardness of 7, the density of 2.6-2.7 grams per cubic centimeter, a level of color ranges from translucent to opaque.

This is probably an Italian cigarette box. Marked 900 along with another indistinct mark. It would benefit from a polishing. 7-1/4 x 3-1/2"

Japanese Meiji Copper or bronze on metal trinket or stash box, the lid with a formal geisha and a dog playing with a ball . The background there is mountains with pagodas the sides have flying birds with landscapes. The box has wear as seen in images. These are usually listed as bronze or copper but they are copper or bronze over a heavy metal base. Size almost 2.5" w by 1.75" d by 1" high

Lovely Bohemian pale pink cordial set with pastel enameled flowers. The set includes 4 glasses, glass tray, and a decanter with a parrot. We haven't noticed any conditions issues except for age related wear to gold gilt. Decanter measures 10.5 inches high, glasses 2.25" high, tray 7.5" diameter. A very unusual and sweet set.

19064552 A nice small example of Loetz “Astraea” pattern. The bulbous vase is 3 ½ inches tall, 2 ½ inches in diameter and has a polished pontil. The piece is unsigned.

Pair of Chinese porcelain hat stands with a central figure of a foo dog done in iron red enamels with green eyes with pups playing around. One of the hat stands carries writing in black ink at the top. The other has a poem in black ink on the reverse. Glazed white on the insides and on the base with the base rims left unglazed. This Native American watch cuff has 2 turquoise sea-foam nuggets in a blue-green color with lots of pitting and an irregular surface. It also has a piece of red coral. Both the turquoise and the coral are set in toothed bezels. It has the letters "BS" incised in the back of the bracelet.

Small and cute box for keeping incense, called kogo, originally used in the tea ceremony. Hand modeled coarse red stoneware with small sediment and mineral inclusions. White irregular glaze caused by feldspar inclusions in the clay that melted during the firing and dripped over the outside.
The overall shape is an irregular cylinder which turns into a plum blossom when seen from the top, with three clusters of stamen. Ash glaze inside the lower part of the box.

India sterling silver perfume box in the shape of a sitar, all hand worked with great detail, there are no losses in good condition unmarked . Size L 7.5 " w 2.5 " weight 160 g.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen in the 1920s. The saucer is 4 3/4 inches long, 4 1/4 inches wide and 1 1/4 inches deep. The cup is 1 3/4 inches high. The set has a quatrefoil shape, with tiny hand painted flowers dotting each piece. The rims are trimmed with gold. Condition: Excellent, first quality.

Circa 1980, Philippines woven reed and bamboo storage basket crafted by the Ifugao people of the Luzon Cordillera range in the Philippines. Known for their craftsmanship in basketry both Ifugao men and women engage in basket making. Created for everyday use, head baskets like this were used in the fields to collect rice or sweet potatoes and then to store, keeping perishables dry. In excellent condition, it measures 13.5" square by 6" high.

Fabulous sassy pouch and totally intact, a major feat for a little purse that ancient! Large blue faceted beads, two levels of tiny silver bead fringe and an eight strand long tassel. Great lining and metal drawstring. Some lucky person danced the Charleston with this little purse swinging from her wrist. Diameter of purse fully opened 4 1/2", length of purse 5", length of tassel 2 1/2", wristband tightens automatically by metal drawstring to fit any size wrist.

Line 700 was produced by Consolidated Glass Company in 1929. Offered here is the 6 1/2 inch fan vase in in jade. The color is a green ceramic wash applied over crystal and then fired on to fuse it permanently to the surface of the glass. Excellent condition, the color is really lovely! This beautiful vase was produced by the Consolidated Glass Company as part of the Martele line. Designed by Reuben Haley, the pattern is called Jonquil and was produced in the late 1920's.
