This is an amazing walking stick that features two horses head side by side.Notice the glass eyes and the carving details of the horses. The ornate collar has the letter JEH inscribed on it. Also take note of the several flower details that appear on the handle. This stick measures 33 3/4 x 4 1/2 x 1. The ferrule measures 1 1/2", the collar 3/4". The handle itself measures 1 1/4 x 4 1/2 x 1. A wonderful horse walking stick for any collection.

The Chinese name for this bodhisattva, sitting on a lotus flower which is draped on the back of a lion, is Wenshu (Manjusri). Wenshu was a disciple of the Buddha. Superb and extremely rare silverplated cocktail shaker in the "Ile de France" pattern by Meriden Britannia Plate Co. This is one of the most desirable of the high style Art Deco shakers. The shade is 13.75" in diameter. The scene on the lamp is repeated 3 times on the shade. It is 6 1/2" tall.
The 2 socket base is cast iron covered with a felt. There are no hallmarks anywhere that I can find on the shade, the base, the cap.
