This piece was brought from the Gujarat area of India . This is a rare and irreplaceable sculpture . Size H 59" W 17" D 14" weight, a guess 150 lb losses and some restoration as to be expected . This sculpture is done in the full round but due to the weight we couldn't safely photograph the back.

This porcelain monkey was produced in Denmark by Royal Copenhagen in 1964. The marking indicated this year. It is initialed by the artist Niels Nielsen. It measures 5 inches high and is 3 inches wide. The artist portrays a female monkey in a serene pose. She looks contented, sleepy and apparently pregnant. The modeling is well done and captures the character of our distant relative. She is hand painted in a naturalistic manner. Condition: Exellent first quality.

Vintage demitasse cup and saucer by Royal Doulton in the "Reynard the Fox" pattern. The saucer measures approximately 4.5" in diameter and the cup measures approximately 2.5" tall and 2 1/8" in diameter across the base. It has a riding crop detail for the handle that stretches around the base. The fox and crop detail are slightly raised and beautifully hand-painted. The set is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing.

Wonderful unique hand carved black forest style barometer with pair of horses highlighting the design. Probably dates to mid-century. Has opaque glass thermometer backboard with handpainted numerals. Barometer with blue enamel highlights on the gauges. Excellent working condition. Only issue is a minor crack to the white glass thermo backer board, but hardly visible. A fine pair of larger carvings of an old man and a boy with a bird and two boys in a garden. Finely made and mounted in a low grade silver metal mounts, so that they can be carried and used as ornaments. Both carved in a white/celadon jade.

DESCRIPTION: A colorful pair of Chinese cloisonne deer, both standing foursquare with heads turned, their bodies decorated with a profusion of designs including dragons and taotie masks, all on a turquoise blue ground. These are a nice larger size, perfect for a table centerpiece. Republic Period (1911 - 1949); very good condition. DIMENSIONS: Each 15.5" long (39.3 cm) x 15" high (38 cm).
