This extraordinary vessel is a prime example of Wilhelm Kåge's celebrated Farsta series for Gustavsberg, Sweden. This piece measures 10 1/2" tall and is 4 7/8" in diameter. An interesting square porcelain brush pot with a long inscription of the Chu Shi Biao composed by the 3rd century strategist, Zhuge Liang. The inscription makes the argument that the state of Shu Han must fight against Cao Wei. The calligrapher at the end signs and dates the piece: The 23rd Year of Kangxi, (inscribed by) Wen Fang. Black mask with an unusual slightly conical coiffe. Africa, Gabon, Punu Peoples. Height: 12 " ( 30 cm). The mask is nicely mounted on a custom metal stand. Old accidents and infestations (no danger), otherwise good condition. Signed French Lalique Glass vase, signed "Lalique, France", 6 1/2" high, 4 3/4" wide-widest middle part, 4 1/4" diameter for top rim, very heavy weight and frosted 14 birds inside the deep cut out circles wrapped around with continuing vines, all birds are in different position, with clear glass top and bottom rim. This Lalique vase is in good condition and some small scratches on the bottom from the age, no chips or damage.

A pair of Chinese semi precious stone crafted into a small magnolia tree. The tree is planted in a Chinese cloisonne pot. The container's body has a lovely blue background with abstracted lotus design, old gilt on edges. The entire tree is crafted as if an actual plant is planted in the pots.The cloisonne appears to be late 19th century. The semiprecious stones are of a later vintage. This is a densely beaded purse made by Pashtun nomadic women from Afghanistan depicting the ancient tree of life motif. It measures 12 x 19.5 cm and is in excellent condition. The beaded tassels are attached by cords made of metallic thread. The inside is lined with purple polyester fabric and features three pockets. The embroidery technique is a tightly worked ladder stitch accented with metallic braided trim. Estimated age mid to late 20th century.
