Offered are these two art glass bottles by Vera Walther. Both bottles are signed and in good condition.

Soft wood (probably pine) carved shore bird decoy, likely 19th century, with authentic wear including missing paint, pellet holes, and broken off beak. The work measures approximately 9 1/2" by 6" extreme dimensions, not including the wood base. The eyes appear to be metallic tacks. I am not a decoy specialist but wonder if this might be by any recognized carver. In any event, the piece is a great example of folk art Americana.

This really nice small milk glass Old Quilt Creamer and Sugar set was made by Westmoreland Glass. The Creamer and Sugar each measure 3 Inches high and have the original Westmoreland sticker attached. This lovely amber centerpiece bowl is marked with a C in a triangle for the Cambridge Glass Company. The broad flared rim rises from a collar foot showing the fine, rich amber color throughout. It spans 12 3/4" across the broad rim and is 3 1/2" deep. This elegant piece is in excellent condition. I have other Cambridge and elegant glassware in my inventory... take a peek. This really pretty pink Old Colony, aka Lace Edge, depression glass 12 3/4 inch 4-part solid lace edge plate was made by Hocking Glass from 1935 to 1938. A very nice cut crystal cocktail shaker in amethyst overlay. The design is a classic pattern of angular mitres emanating from oval printies. These shakers were almost always acid-signed “Japan” on the base, but someone scratched out the signature on this one. Cut glass in the Art Deco style was one of the industries established in Japan during the occupation at the end of World War II. The products were of fine quality and easily competed with European glass from the era...

This pair of porcelain plates was produced in England by Royal Doulton in 1938. They measure 10 1/2 inches in diameter. They are made of fine bone china that is ivory in color. The entire front surface of the plate is decorated. They have elaborate gold borders with cartouches containing urns. The centers are hand painted with scenes of Italian landscapes and water views. They were painted by the renowned artist, P. Curnock. He used color beautifully in the skies and mountains...

Colonial sterling silver ale pitcher. Made by Old Newbury Crafters in Newburyport, Mass. Curved bowl with reeded staves; c-scroll handle and sharp v-spout. For serving ye olde fermented refreshment. Fully marked including maker’s and craftsman’s (Fletcher S. Carter) stamps as well as phrase “Boston / Museum of Fine Arts / Reproduction”. Very good condition.

A nice set of sterling silver cocktail picks, the tops decorated with colorful enameled roosters. The use of the rooster (“cock”) motif in Art Deco barware was a play on the word “cocktail”. Each pick has a hook on the back of the rooster so that it can hang from the edge of the glass. Each is fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 1927. The picks are presented in their original fitted case embossed Abercrombie & Fitch.

Two small bottle vases in Art Nouveau style and techniques, made around 1970 by Mtarfa, Malta. One in the feather manner and iridescent, the other, the darker one, in iridescent overlay. Both signed Mtarfa. Height "3¼/ 8 and "3/ 7,5cm. Condition: fine.

A beautiful, large art glass bowl, made by Kosta Boda in their 'Unica' series - it was done by Lindstrand. The bowl's coloration fades from purple-to-clear. It is 11 3/4 inches (30 cm) long and 3 1/2 inches (9 cm) high. It is in fine condition (some usage scratches on bottom). Polished pontil. It is signed with acid-etching, 'Lindstrand Kosta' and is numbered, 'L.H.1001'.

A large and beautiful pink glass bowl decorated with frosted lines and circles - the bowl was made by Schneider company of France around 1930. The large blown glass bowl (has a polished pontil) is 14 inches (35,5 cm) in diameter and is in excellent condition (there are some expected faint scratches on its bottom - see picture). It is signed, 'Schneider' on its foot. A similar bowl is listed on page 374 of 'Warman's Glass', 4th edition, 2002 (shown in last picture here for your convenience).

A very fine and extremely rare Art Deco sterling silver cocktail shaker by exclusive Tuttle Silvermsiths. At the end of the Art Deco era, just before modernism began to take a firm hold, a few leading American silver companies started reinterpreting Stuart adn Georgian silver designs for modern purposes. This shaker is just such an example...

This stylized conch is documented in several publications, including Leslie Pinas' ITALIAN GLASS, PG 146, valued at $800-$1000 and Helmut Ricke & Eva Schmitts' ITALIAN GLASS. This modern expression of the conch shell exemplifies that even as the Murano glass designers were being influenced by the Modernist movement, life and elements from the Venetian Lagoon continued to serve as an inspiration for artists. Measuring 6.5"w x 3.5" x 5.5"h, the Conchiglie is in good condition, unmarked.

Cambridge made the etching, Rosepoint, from 1935-54. This stem, liquor cocktail #3121, is about 6" tall and in mint condition. Four are available.

A decorative Sterling Silver overlay decanter "pinch" bottle with sterling cap over a vintage Haig's bottl, made in Mexico, mid century. The bottle overlay is cutout and engraved flowers and foliage. Marked STERLING and 925. Glass painted in white HAIG & HAIG, bottom stamped 25 HAIG & HAIG LTD Edinburgh Scotland; Very good vintage condition. Measures 8 1/2" tall by 5" wide.

A rare and wonderful two sided micro-petit point purse made for a child. On one side is a depiction of an 18th century courting couple, under a tree by a river, with the man holding a mandolin serenading the woman. The reverse side shows homes along the river, and a sailboat.
