Venini 'a canne' bowl in alternating stripes of red, and clear glass, with applied clear glass foot. Foot has polished pontil and is stamped Venini murano ITALIA. The bowl measures 9.75 inches (24.7 cm) in diameter and stands 5.25 inches (13.3 cm) tall. It has a wavy rim like most 'a canne' pieces. Possibly Scarpa or Paulo Venini, of 1950's vintage. The bowl is in excellent condition, with minor scratches on the bottom interior of the bowl, but no chips, cracks or repairs. This is eye-catching!

A fine example of Dino Martens' masterful use of the mezza filigrana technique on a modern interpretation of the platter form. The platter has a skillfully applied ring foot and remnants of its label. The piece is in excellent condition and is 11.25"x 3.5"h.

Anchor Hocking's Sandwich pattern is one of the most recognized Hocking patterns. The Forest Green pieces were made during the mid 1950's. This porcelain figurine was produced in Denmark by Bing & Grondahl Copenhagen between 1951 and 1960. It has the model number 2095. It is 6 1/4 inches high and 8 1/4 inches long. He is well modeled with all of the requirements of this breed of dog. He is hand painted and has a high gloss glaze. He would make a fine addition to any dog collection. Condition: Excellent, first quality.

These 6 porcelain plates were produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1958. The markings on the back indicate this year of manufacture. The plates have a diameter of 10 3/4 inches. They are made of fine bone china. Each plate is hand painted with a different spray of flowers and are signed by the artist Freeman. The flowers are vibrantly, and realistically rendered. The flowers account for an area of 3 1/2 inches in diameter...
