This porcelain and sterling silver vase was produced in Germany between 1934 and 1947. It has the underglaze blue crossed swords mark and incised model numbers. It measures 3 3/4 inches high, approximately 4 1/4 inches in diameter and the opening of the vase is 3 1/4 inches. The body of the vase is moved with panels to give it shape. 17114428 A scarce gold Favrile underplate for a cordial. The 3 inch diameter plate has a polished pontil and is signed “LCT G1478" by the polished pontil. The rim of the plate exhibits a very nice onion skin pattern. Under plates such as this are shown in a page from the 1902 Tiffany Studios booklet. A copy of this page can be found on page 54 of Robert Koch’s “Louis C. Tiffany’s Glass-Bronzes-Lamps.”

English Aynsley Bone China Dinner Plate, fluted edge with multi floral decoration, marked "Aynsley, England, fine English Bone China" in green on the bottom. The condition is good.

German Rosenthal Porcelain Serving Bowl with 2 handles, 9" x 10" wide, 2 1/8" high, with large hand painted gold floral decoration in the center in the cobalt blue background, and fluted rim is also decorated in brilliant gold. This faience figural group was produced in Bologna, Italy by Aurelio Minghetti in the early 1900s. This piece was sold by the retailer “Carbone” of Boston, who handled European imports from about 1910 to 1920. It measures 16 inches high, 9 1/2 inches wide, and 8 inches deep. It is well modeled and hand painted. The garments on the Madonna have colorful detail. There is a feel of serenity and ancient Mediterranean tradition in the piece...

Pair English Porcelain Plates, early 1900's, 9" diameter, Pink and Red Peony Flowering trees in the rock garden in the center, transfer design with raised enamel painted over the glaze in some areas, and cobalt blue color of leaves finished with gold lines over the glaze. Nostalgic glass vanity jar with enameled sterling silver cover. Made in London in 1934. Oval jar with straight and fluted sides. Cover has motoring scene: A Victorian lady and two gentlemen tootle along in a turn-of-the-century automobile. A sweet look back. Hallmark includes George V’s silver jubilee mark. This silver overlay vase was produced in Germany by Friedrich Spar & Company around 1930. Except for a number 21 in red it is not signed but we are certain of its origin. The vase measures 7 inches in diameter. The art deco design is Asian inspired with pink flowers and branches spreading around the porcelain. The ground color is medium blue which contrasts so beautifully with the pink blossoms. The silver work is elaborate. Condition: Excellent

This hand hammered sterling silver bowl was designed & signed c. 1940's by Taxco Mexico artist William Spratling. The interior of the bowl measures 6 1/2" across & 2 1/2 inches deep. Bowl weight is 652 grams or 23 oz. Each of the 3 handles are accented with 2 raised silver domes. Beautiful condition. Excellent accent piece for any room. This design is included in the superb & permanent 20th century Mexican silver collection at LACMA.

Measuring 11.5" wide x 15.75" long, this lovely, circa 1930, crosstitch cross stitch sampler depicts the history of a New York City and New Jersey family with multiple cultural nationalities displayed as well as a variety of early family occupations, significant streets, town, and structures.

Interestingly, whomever wrought this very detailed, family-history sampler omitted just one significant detail- the family surname!
