This hand hammered sterling silver bowl was designed & signed c. 1940's by Taxco Mexico artist William Spratling. The interior of the bowl measures 6 1/2" across & 2 1/2 inches deep. Bowl weight is 652 grams or 23 oz. Each of the 3 handles are accented with 2 raised silver domes. Beautiful condition. Excellent accent piece for any room. This design is included in the superb & permanent 20th century Mexican silver collection at LACMA.

This heavy 6" long (spout to handle) footed pitcher weighs 175.4 grams (6.2 ounces) and it has the JEB maker's mark for James Edward Barry. Being offered is an exceptional and rare circa 1945 sterling silver bowl by William Spratling, of Taxco, Mexico. Handwrought bowl featuring three incised silver tabs with bezel set amethyst cabochons. Dimensions: 10 inches diameter by 1 3/4 inches tall, the 3 amethyst tabs are 2 7/8 inches wide by 1 1/2 inches deep. Marked as illustrated in photo. In excellent condition, great weight 19 oz.

This vintage 1940's hand hammered, hand forged 980 sterling silver bowl was designed & signed by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67). Weighing a hefty 652 grams or 23 oz. the bowl measures 10 inches across and 2 inches high. The base measures 5 1/4" across. The rim is finished with a thick rope design. This piece is in beautiful condition & fully hallmarked for Spratling on the reverse.

Colonial Revival sterling silver bowl. Made by Dominick & Haff in New York in 1940. Tapering sides, flared rim, curved bottom, and raised and inset foot. Traditional form with plenty of room for engraving. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, no. X1455, Reed & Barton date symbol, and phrase “Paul Revere / Reproduction”. Dominick & Haff was acquired by Reed & Barton in 1928. Very good condition.

Super stylish Art Deco sterling silver compote. Round bowl with flared rim and curved and tapering sides. Ovoid support with Bakelite band to round foot with same. Visible hand hammering with nice shimmer. Italian marks (1934-44) including unidentified Roman maker’s stamp (14 Roma) and Milan retailer’s stamp (Fratelli Veneziani). Good condition. Bakelite crack on foot.

This pretty crystal and sterling silver perfume bottle has a partial mark for Sterling (and it tests as sterling), and another partial mark: “…AXCO” for TAXCO.
