A rare Fostoria Manor 2443 etch 286 green elegant glass bowl circa 1930s. This Art Deco period 12" x 5-1/2" oval centrepiece bowl in the Manor pattern etch 286 was only produced by the Fostoria Glass Company in the green color from 1931-1935. This Fenton grape and cable carnival glass bowl is in the marigold color. It is 7 1/2" in diameter and stands 3 3/8" tall. This bowl is much like the Northwood version with four groups of grapes. Fenton arranges the four groups of grapes evenly with 14 grapes in each group. What seems to be different to me is the saw tooth edge much like Northwood.

There are no chips, no cracks, no repairs. This carnival glass bowl is in excellent vintage condition.

This vintage candle bowl is by Fenton and it still has the old sticker still applied. It is a lovely white milk glass covered in hobnails. The rim is deeply ruffled and it sits on a bell foot to accommodate the candles. This display piece spans 8" across the pinched rim and is 3 1/2" deep. Two charming little elephants and a kangaroo, part of a miniature glass menagerie from the Bimini Werkstätte in Vienna (1923 – 1938). Lampworked, the insides covered by a shimmering mother-of-pearl-like mercury layer. Height "1 ½ - 1 ¾ / 3.5 - 5 cm. Condition: a few flakes to the interior (cf. pics).

A pretty Art Deco cut glass perfume bottle with an intaglio stopper. The periwinkle blue body is cut in a diamond pattern, while the flat round stopper has lapidary cut edges and an intaglio four-leaf clover. The overall effect is very sweet. The flat base is acid-etched “Made in Czechoslovakia” inside an elongated oval.

Origin: Czechoslovakia, ca. 1920. Condition: excellent, no chips or cracks. Size: 3-3/4” tall.

Set of four Bohemian glasses, each hand painted with a different pair of dogs. We're not dog experts, but they appear to be Scotties, wolfhounds, spaniels and Dalmatians. The quality of the painting is very nice, as is the quality of the glass. The top and bottom edges are decorated with gilt lines. The polished bottoms are acid-etched "Made In Czechoslovakia".

A lovely Art Deco cameo glass perfume bottle with rare amethyst glass casing in "Design No 8039" by Cristalleries de Nancy. The design features sprays of stylized poppies against a frosted background. The cameo design is accented with cut details at the shoulder and at the top of the hollow-blown stopper. The base is acid-stamped “Cristal Nancy France.” This design was made in several different overlay colors including green, cobalt blue and ruby, but amethyst appears to be the rarest....

Daum's well-known vintage Pate de Verre glass plaque, 'La Danse'. The figurine is 10 1/2 inches (27 cm) long, 5 1/2 inches (14 cm) wide. It is in fine condition (there are some fine craquellaire, typical of Pate de Verre glass items - see picture).

A stunning yellow Art Deco pate de verre crystal figural vase by French artist I. Roubleff (1877-1970). Featuring a kneeling nude woman with irises surrounding the rim, it is a heavy piece much like a sculpture. Signed by the artist and in perfect condition, the vase measures 10 inches high by 5" at the widest point.

The WMF / Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik also made some outstanding art glass in 1926-1936, of which Myra Kristall and Ikora are the foremost series. Myra glass was treated to the surface with silver nitrate and metal salts to create rich and varied iridized effects. The inside of this Myra bowl with its lobed sides is a blueish silver green in daylight, the outside has got additional purple shades. Diameter "6 ½ / 16.5 cm and height "3 ½ / 9 cm. Condition: fine.

Offered is this beautiful set of six glass stems, made by Bimini Werkstette, around 1930. Each glass is just under 6 inches (15 cm) tall and they are in very good condition. The glass is extremely light and delicate. Unsigned, but guaranteed to be by Bimini (Bimini stems are shown on page 67 of Judith Miller's book, '20th century glass' - shown in last picture here).

Pair Venetian Glass Swan Salt and Pepper Dishes, green and clear molded and blown with gold leaf inside, approximately 2 1/2" high, 3 1/2" wide x 2 1/4" deep. They have to be together all the time. They are in good condition without any damage.

Fine strand of prewar WWII, glass Venetian trade beads from Africa, L: 58cm/23in. These are strung on a contemporary cotton green string with copper wire fastener. Marc Heiremans' "SEGUSO VETRI D'ARTE" documents this sculptural bowl form: Model #3434, P. 85. This beauty is done in the "pesco oro" technique, with gold foil embedded to enhance the richness of the material. This unique figurine of a peasant boy carrying a sack, clearly demonstrates the artistic virtuosity of the Murano glass artists. It is highly unusual for a figurine to have hollow legs to support such tall statue. (We have only seen a similar figurine in Venice.) This Murano sculpture is superbly crafted and highly unusual in its clarity using only a subtle iridescence to accent the beauty of the Glass. This unique beauty stands 13" tall and is in excellent condition.

Lovely covered dresser box attributed to Artisti Barovier, circa 1920s. In green with applied pink "pasta glass" details and a beautifully crafted purple and green bunch of grapes on the lid. The entire piece is lightly iridescent, making it glow and reflect in the light. This thin and light piece has a snap pontil, and is a rare piece of early Murano glass. A beautiful, 3-piece, Murano glass perfume set, made most likely by Archimede Seguso, around 1940. It is in their 'Bullicante'/bubbles decor, with pink inner and clear outer casings. The heights of the three pieces are, 6 1/2 inches (16,5 cm), 5 7/8 inches (15 cm) and 4 1/2 inches (11,5 cm) respectively. Overall, in good condition - there is a nick on the inner-rim of the powder jar, and, some glue on atomizer to shut outlet. Faded acid-etched signature, 'Made in Italy'.

These perfume bottles have no marks other than the paper labels which indicate they are Irving W. Rice & Co imports. However, these stoppers were found in an illustration of Irving W. Rice & Co of New York catalog from 1935.
