Offered is this large signed Seguso Murano glass vase. The vase is 13 3/4 inches (35 cm) tall, 7 3/4 inches (20 cm) wide and 5 inches (12,5 cm) deep. It is without any chips, cracks or repairs. A vintage bronze Japanese Shishi or Fu Dog Okimono holding a spherical scrolling vine ball. Biting a decorative rope, its mouth is open to expel evil. Made in two parts, the sphere separates from the Shishi.

The Shishi is a mythical creature whose purpose to to protect Buddhism. Often seen at the entrance to Buddhist temples, it guards and protects believers of the faith.

A small beaker vase by Danish designer Just Andersen (1884-1943). Of flaring form, the simplicity of the shape accentuated by stripes near mouth and foot-rim. Marks: Just, GAB (a Swedish company for which Just Andersen worked from c 1930), model number 1162 and 1931 for the year. Height "2/ 5 cm. Condition: fine.

The WMF / Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik also made some outstanding art glass in 1926-1936 of which Myra Kristall and Ikora are the foremost series. Myra glass was treated to the surface with silver nitrate and metal salts to create rich and varied iridized effects. Fire King made Charm from 1950-54. This 4-7/8" square bowl is in excellent/mint condition. 14 are available.

A very elegant Art Deco cranberry-cut-to-clear crystal cocktail shaker. The glass is very clear and quite heavy. The style of cutting suggests Val Saint-Lambert as the most likely maker. The shaker is finished with a silverplate strainer and cap.

Origin: probably Belgium, ca. 1925. Condition: excellent, no chips or cracks, very minor plating loss on cap. Dimensions: 9" tall.

These 6 porcelain plates were produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1958. The markings on the back indicate this year of manufacture. The plates have a diameter of 10 3/4 inches. They are made of fine bone china. Each plate is hand painted with a different spray of flowers and are signed by the artist Freeman. The flowers are vibrantly, and realistically rendered. The flowers account for an area of 3 1/2 inches in diameter...

Consolidated Glass Company produced the Catalonian line in 1927. It was made to look like glass found in Catalonia Spain at the archaeological sites, and had bubbles and raised rings blown into the glass. This is the 1171 violet vase - part of the Spanish Knobs variation - in emerald. The vase is approximately 3 3/4 inches high and in excellent condition. 12 sterling silver demitasse spoons in Kirk's wonderful "Repousse" pattern. Certainly the most famous of all silver patterns to emerge from Baltimore, "Repousse" they are filled with flowers such as roses, daisies and forget-me-nots. The backs are marked "S. Kirk & Son Sterling." The set of 12 is accompanied with it's original felt protector with 12 individual holders for the spoons.

This beautiful sterling silver case was originally meant for cigarettes but could just as easily hold business cards or ???. It is lavishly engraved with an all-over swirling pattern and bears the initials FC in script. The case is 3 1/4" x 2 3/4". It is hallmarked for Birmingham, England, sterling silver, and 1927-28. The maker's mark is FHA & Co.

This elegant "CARNIVALE" vase by Fratelli Toso has polychrome colors and a satin finish. Produced in the 1920's, the CARNIVALLE series is sought after by collectors. See Leslie Pina's book: FRATELLI TOSO, ITALIAN GLASS 1854-1980, page 48-49. The vase is 8.25"h x4.5"w, unmarked and is in excellent condition.

A tall amber-colored, signed art deco era decanter, made by Moser. Overall, the decanter is in good condition (the decanter has been examined under black-light: there are no cracks in the decanter) - there are some chips however (the biggest one shown in the last picture). The tall decanter is 20 1/2 inches (52 cm) tall and 5 1/2 inches (14 cm) wide at the bottom. It is signed on its bottom (also, a similar decanter is shown on page 141 of Baldwin's book, 'Moser Artistic Glass edition two').
