Sumptuous in its expression of the sensual qualities of glass, this stylized sculpture of a figure in repose by Livio Seguso is signed and in excellent condition. The solid glass sculpture weighs 12.5 lbs, measures 6"w x 6"d x 8"h, and was well protected over the years by four felt pads at the corners.

Pretty porcelain vase handpainted in soft shades of blue and green over a gently shaded blue background. The porcelain is of the finest quality and the glaze is impeccable. The bottom is marked with the green stamp with the date mark for 1961. The bottom also has the artist’s lowercase initials “SY” and the pattern number “2679/295”.

A vintage sterling silver vermouth dispenser by Gorham in the form of a syringe. These were called “Martini Spikes” when sold by Gorham in the 1960s. The functioning plunger allows vermouth to be drawn up into the syringe, then dispensed in precise doses into your favorite cocktail. Marked “Gorham Sterling 429 Pat. Pend.”.

Cylindrical decanter in light blue, pink and white 'a canne' with a matching globular stopper. Stopper has a clear glass flange and neck. Neither the stopper nor the neck of the bottle is ground. The bottle stands 17 1/2 inches tall with it's stopper (15 1/8 inches without) and is 3 1/2 inches in diameter at the base. Retains its round blue and silver Made in Murano sticker on the base. This really pretty Forest Green Bubble 5 1/4 Inch high Water Goblet, with crystal foot, was made by Anchor Hocking Glass in the 1940s 1950s 1960s. Sterling Silver modernist bowl by Alfredo Sciarrotta (Italian-American 1907-1985), in sleek biomorphic form on open work scrolled foot, signed on bottom. Modern design vase with incisio carved surface ia a sommerso blend that transitions from cool green to a warm golden wheat color at the base. This is the first incisio I have seen in this shape; I suspect there are not many. This vessel displays nicely with the incisio candle holders item #086. Modern floral expression using abstract floral murrines in a field of thin copper red vines and green opal leaves. This abstract imagery floats on a thick case of clear glass behind which is a gather of transparent copper blue glass with a heavy coating of aventurine. The thick clear layer gives the design an interesting depth. Measuring 2.5"dia. x 4.25"h, in excellent condition, unmarked.

Fine quality carafe with matching glass or tumbler which fits over top of carafe, both in blue and white swirled designs on clear glass, polished lip and bases, signature, mid century era. The blue is cobalt, it appears to have a turquoise hue in some of the photos. This superb rendition of a lovebirds pair resting on a crystal log surely is the work of Archimede Seguso. The colorization of the birds is achieved with fragments of blue and white opal filigrana cane, resulting in a merletto type effect which is largely Archimede Segusos signature technique. The birds' gestures, beaks, wings and tails are similar to birds depicted in Leslie Pinas' book on Archimede Seguso. The two ends of the log are nicely ground convex and polished...
