A French Vallauris dish by Cerenne, with black, silky glaze. Decoration in bright enamels of a gardener with his tools and flower pots.The back with impressed Vallauris mark and painted MC (painters signature) and Cerenne Vallauris. Cerenne (=CRN) was the signature used by one of the largest ceramic workshops in Vallauris, led by Charles René Roger Neveux. Diameter "8¾/ 22,5 cm. Condition: small rubbing to the glaze just outside the right flower.

Radiance is a very elegant Depression era pattern that was produced by New Martinsville Glass Company from 1936 to 1939. This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in France by Tharaud Limoges in the 1920s. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/2 Inches and the cup is 2 ¼ inches high. The cup has melon ribs and the saucer is scalloped on the rim. The ground color is deep forest green. It is decorated with white raised enamel flowers and gilded leaves. The design is simple and elegant. Condition: Excellent

Sterling Silver wide rim of low relief design and beautifully Cut and Etched heavy clear Crystal Dish or Coaster, 1930's, 5 1/4" diameter, 3/4" high, sterling rim size is 5/8" wide, high quality, marked "Sterling", "3826-9" on the side underneath. A classic mid-century porcelain water jug advertising Ricard anisette. In the south of France, tradition dictates that a pitcher of water should be served alongside anise-flavored aperitifs to dilute the drink. Makers such as Ricard and Pernod provided advertising pitchers to local bars and cafes to increase their sales. The squared-off shape is less common than the traditional globe-shaped pitcher, and only became popular after World War II...
