Center bowl of opalescent glass with irregular aventurine patches floating in pools of clear teal-blue. Slightly irregular oval, almost egg shaped, bowl measures a (HUGE!) 19 inches (48 cm) by 13 (33 cm) and is 2.5 inches (6 cm) deep. Bowl has a flat bottom with a polished pontil and retains its blue and silver Murano Glass, made in Italy label. Likely an Ermanno Toso design of 1950/1960. Excellent condition, no chips, cracks or repairs. Circa 1960.

An Italian 1950's whimsical bottle-shaped vase, Fantoni style. Covered with dark green leather leaving two reserves with enameled still life decoration of, to one side, fruit and to the other a group of vessels in modernist style, the interior blue-glazed. Absolutely Beautiful French Louis XV style gilt bronze champleve and enamel porcelain covered Urn, great delicate enamel work, high quality hand painting on porcelain depicting two playful children surrounded by floral motif on one side and on the oposit beautiful scenery and foliage. The height of the Urn is 12 inches, from early 20th century era and in perfect condition.

Stippled Band was the first toy dish pattern produced by Akro Agate. The transparent topaz color pictured here was only made in 1935-6 and is very difficult to find. This is the Large size Stippled Band set and includes 4 cups & saucers, 4 plates, teapot & lid, creamer, and sugar & lid. The sugar lid is the rare dome - shaped style.
