No glass, good vintage condition, some faint old very light brownish staining to background.
An example of the photograph "The Orchard Bend", circa 1910, so titled and signed in ink "Wallace Nutting", 8 3/4" by 11 3/4" in the laminated dark old-style likely original framing. The scene depicted is a group of pink-flowering trees by a stone wall adjacent to a dirt track which is picturesquely bending out of sight, likely in the Berkshire Mountains of western Massachusetts. An American "Home Sweet Home" type image of modest home with saying "May every day in every year bless this house with homely cheer", housed in a late 19th century walnut and gilt fillet Victorian style frame. The piece as framed measures 16" by 14". The needlework is in exceptional fresh condition. I am uncertain as to the age of it; I think, younger than the frame. A timeless classic piece for the traditional home.
